I think keogh is referring to this mornings Herald Sun, where a picture of Fev appeared sitting on a bench. (No url link available)

Please keogh come back on line and explain this whole thread. I'm lost in a land where leprechauns roam and play tiddlywinks with shepherds.

Ill explain it
Its a sad reflection on the club when its the most undisciplined player gets the most attention.I cringe when he speaks on the footy show.Sure the club has no control on what the press prints but fair dinkum I am sick of seeing his face.Other players deserve more attention than Fevola. He is a grown up kid who we should of let go to the Tigers with pacifier in tow.

I hope I am wrong but at 25 with 100 games under his belt i cant see him changing his antics.
Denis said it all after the round 21 debacle. We disagree about philosophy in football. If we get some press give it to someone who deserves it.I only read the Herald Sun at work when I have a spare minute. The article was on Lappin and his dramas at the club this year. What the @#$%&! does that have to do with Fevola putting his runners on.And all you guys that have posted.Answer yourself this question .DO YOU WANT FEVOLA TO BE THE FACE OF THE CLUB FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARS.I dont and i am not on my pat Malone.I wish he was ignored by all and sundry until he grows up.

i'm not a guy...

and yes, I'd be happy if he was one of the faces. Don't think we should rely on one man.

I want Fevola as the face of the club for the next 3 years.

Let's face it...he attracts the kids. Ask one small child, who supports Carlton, who their favourite player is and 9/10 you'll get Brendan Fevola as an answer.

Have a look at how far the bloke moves on Family Day. Earlier this year he walked out on to the ground and moved over to the forward pocket in front of the Social Club. Every time I looked over there he was mobbed by about 100-150 people and he didn't look like moving any time soon.

Now, ask yourself this Keogh, would any other player at Carlton under the age of 25 attract that much attention?

Yes I'm quite happy for him to be the face of the club for the next 3 years, I can't think of a better alternative for the time being. After 3 years, or maybe even sooner, we'll have someone just as marketable.

Worst thread ever

No but I am not concerned about that. How did you feel during the St kilda game this year.More to the point how did Fevola'a teammates feel during the first quarter. Why did we try to offload him.We are starting to repeat ourselves from previous threads but what I will say is my patience with the guy has run out.How popular you are with fans shouldn't equate to being on the list.I believe it would be easier to move forward without him.
