yeah, heard that.
so we'd get rid of lachie, then get in jakie, who may not play from anything between a couple of months to a couple of years?
go figure.

I think it's balls.

We would probably talk to him, but only because it's prudent.

I can't see Henderson leaving.

Thought The Doc was very good today. Is he a chance for the B&F? A pretty good recruit this fella.

Bell would be a tremendous footballer if he could improve his poise and polish. Gotta like his tenacity.

Cripps battled manfully all day and won his duel in the end. Has to improve his set shot kicking. Scoreboard pressure is the go, its early days and I do hope it will turn around.

Am I in the minority? Whilst I thought Carrots made some blues, I actually thought he gave us some impetus in the middle stages of the match.

Surprised by the Polec lookalike.....Holman. Provided some dash and a couple of nice accurate passes.

Kudos also to Zac who gave us nice drive off the HB line.

Wasnt happy with the Ellard selection and he has had better days - today was not one of those. Also felt Curnow was poor. Not sure whether Rischitelli was his direct opponent for most of the game but the GC veteran got too much of it today.

Looks like the shackles have also come off the fans who have started to return. Good crowd against a franchise team.......two Victorian young up and coming teams the previous night only cracked 26.5k

Rowe and White are not AFL standard defenders. Rowe can only reliably play on duds. Neither can use the ball well at all. The greatest need the club have at the moment is upgrading their KP defenders because these guys are just not up to it. White is not up to AFL in any way. Great effort player just substandard player. VFL player.

Weitering would absolutely transform this side. Pity he will be gone before we get our pick.

Great win for the blues.

3 in a row will be sweet. I think we can do it too.

As for the people bagging carazzo
27 possession, 14 contested. 8 clearances

People bagging him today seriously have no flower idea. Sure you can pick out some isolated plays of holding it up, but l will take his good with the bad.

Sorry Gotz but although he was good at the stoppages he just holds us up in the open field. Every time we play slow and hold it up we go backwards.

It just can't happen. Get it, give it, move it, don't hatch it.

Carrots 1st instinct in open field is not to move it on as quick as he can.

Regards Cazzesman

Rowe got smashed today - until Dixon(?) went off. Good after that. His confidence fluctuates very widely from week to week. He just has to keep backing himself to read the ball in the air.

According to Dermie he was beaten by Dixon because he is 4cm taller and therefore has around 10 extra reach than Rowe. I would like to know how he calculates that. Does it mean that if you are 4cm taller it is guaranteed that you will get an extra 6cm advantage because your arms will be 6cm longer than your opponent? Sorry Dermie but I do not understand your logic.

Dermie was making the point that Dixon had pretty long arms for his build, so that he Rowe was conceding much more reach than his height would suggest.

To be fair we're probably looking at both, but Carlisle is out of contract.

White is not good enough to play in a preliminary final. Needs to be replaced if we are to become a top 4 side

I reckon I could find quite a few players considered "not good enough" for semis, prelims and GF's who did end up playing them.

Shit, the losing Saints GF sides had about 5 in each of them.

Dixon is a monster !! He'll become scary good. He made Rowey look like he was from Lilliput.

dixon is good when he's on, bad when he's sulking (think Jack) or really bad if he's got a minor knock and acts like he's torn/ broken or ruptured something.

Good win. Didnt play as well as last week.
Withstood some physical pressure from GC who were obviously told to rough us up.
Cripps will learn from that.
Bell is having a fantastic year and keeps getting better.
Murphy was good again as was Docherty. Touhy has been good in recent weeks after a poor first half of the year.
It was good to see a good sized crowd turn up.

Interesting to read how GC were undermanned and poor performers.
This is the team who went down by 7 points to the top side last game. They played average footy today because they couldn't get the ball. Our stoppage work was excellent again and our ball movement is improving by the week.
Dont underestimate the improvement. We have always had the capability to win the ball, finally we are playing a game style that gives us more opportunity to retain it.

Yeah, and we were playing full strength as well.
