yes, blatantly stolen from www.csc.actebs.com.au, but a worthy topic just the same.

Just been on the Carlton Shop website, and the availability of anything worth wearing = slim to nothing.

When was the last time you saw Nike promote us anywhere near the same light that Puma do it's clubs? You know straight away that Crawf wears them, Judd wears them, no wonder it's generally the first choice off the rack.

Hell, half the stuff that's on there is made by FUBU. Didn't realise we had such a negro following. :S

Still, the member's nights at the Nike Factory Outlet in Smith St have plenty worth wearing!!!!

I was thinking something similar yesterday Cammo.... only one of the stores in Melbourne Airport had anything Carlton - but they had heaps and heaps of other club stuff..... Now this is stuff I can't get off our website, so I don't know if we just didn't sign up or something -but it's crazy!

If I want to dress my daughters in little pink Carlon tracksuits - I should be able to!!

Funny you should say that, I was in Melbourne Airport on Sunday myself, looked in that really dodgy sporting goods place thats predominanently overpriced, with soccer a close second.

Essendon* galore. Not one Carlton thing at all.

Questions have to be asked. Although, you can hardly say they market Port Power, even after their flag win too well either.

They did Carey well, and that was it.

Supply and demand. Every 2nd kid seems to be a bombers supporter, Carlton's supporter base looks to me to be aging.

Wasn't necessarily just kids stuff though. Talking golf balls, polo shirts, ties, etc.

Our primary demographic seems to be the 21-35 year olds these days :S

I hear Tank tops are popular amongst some supporters

I'm sure if a store had people regularly ask for Carlton gear they'd stock it. It's been 10 years since we last won a flag, we're not as hip as some of the other teams.

We went into the Shop at TD before the International Rules and half the store was Essendon*. Shows what a great deal they were able to get out of TD.

That's because they own/run all stores within the TD.

I did mention www.csc.actebs.com.au, though.

Yep, www.csc.actebs.com.au is where I stole it from. I visit www.csc.actebs.com.au quite often. In fact I might steal some more topics from www.csc.actebs.com.au tonight...
