Purely a guess but I reckon Hendo didn't think much of our leadership group.... and I wouldn't blame him for thinking that.
Clash of personalities.

loved what Barks had to say about Henderson's departure. polite as always, but clearly unimpressed.

Yep,
with GesSEN rumoring Bell, Menz, Yazz and Hendo all wanting out, looks like SOS has really gone to town on the list Pelchen style, and is looking at multiple 1st round picks for this year and next.
As stated by others, 'list managing' for the remainder of the year is putting us in the perfect position for trading / drafting....

Sorry, I don't feel I owe him my thanks.

Probably a nice bloke just simply not good enough to command respect as a big $ footballer. Too timid for his size, poor skill level, although his set-shots improved, but couldn't get his hands on the footy enough inside the 50 to make use of it.

I reckon he's worth about $350 for 2 years. Any more and we would be getting reamed.

I'd prefer a player to a pick.

The last time we requested 'a player' we got Collins.

flakey...

Look, in footy clubs there's always personality clashes and either one group or the other move on or are moved on.

Are we keeping the right group ?

Are you asking should we have different members in our leadership group?

This.

If the club wants to survive, we can't @#$%&! this up. IMHO it's that critical.

Wish I could be confident. Can SOS, MLG and Trigg save the club and make us thrive again?

Yep, you're right Dane. Absolutely no personality in that lot to clash with....

Made this point somewhere else ... and I am probably clutching at straws ... but maybe this gets us the opportunity to pick the eyes out of what talent there is - top 20-25 kids - while most of our rivals have to shift through the chaff.
All I got ... ;)
