Should keep Army who's pretty handy.

Keep Dick at a stretch and he can always play on the fat side.

I'm spewing that Carrots is leaving - in fact I didn't really want to bring it up.

Blah blah blah...

Is that a challenge?

Judd
Carrazzo
Henderson
Kruezer
Yarran
Bell
Menzel
Warnock
Watson
Ellard
Armfield
Jones
Tutt
Dick

That's 14.

Great when someone challenges someone to do something on TC and they can actually back up their thinking with a response. Personally I think 11 is a lot in one go but there is a lot to be said for your reasoning.

of that list I'd say keep Dick, Armfield, Menzel (if possible), Kreuzer (though I'm 50/50 on whether pick 3 is better value then keeping him) and maybe Tutt.

all the others.... shows over lads.

Are the 'bright baby blues' as brave as the 'baby bombers' though?

This quote from Cripps stuck out for me:

Quote:
“I think (developing youngsters this year) has to be the positive because there’s probably not too many others to come out of it,” the midfield star said.

“We’ve got some young talent at the club but in the next few years we’ve got to get a lot more.”

I really hope we create a team that Cripps wants to Captain. (hopefully to a flag)

Trigg on Chris Yarran - "Carlton needs people that put club first and team first, we're very happy for Chris to stay at Carlton with the right attitude."

Trigg on Matthew Kreuzer - "We're respectful of where it's at, we've put our best foot forward with him and we're just waiting to hear."

Doesn't exactly sound positive on the Kreuzer situation?

Agree time- this is what I posted in Kreuzer thread after hearing it on the radio

heard Trigg and thought he was sounding less confident about Kreuzer than at the press conference last week and didn't seem to be suggesting that we were matching ridiculous offers but had put a good one to him but were hoping like the last $1m offer from GWS Kreuzers loyalty would get him over the line

He also did preface remarks with observations that we are seeking as many good players and early draft picks as possible

That's a massive change from last week.

Jones and Tutt wont go

You used Yarran and Bell and Menzel in your trades so fair enough

So thats back to 11 , so i guess you have your number

i'd like to keep Army and Dick if possible maybe watson at a stretch

that is frightening - surely we won't keep him....................?????

I think people forget that when fit (so not 2014) Armfield has been part of our best 22 for a long time now. I know he has his limitations but for me there are many to go before him. Wouldn't be shocked if he's given one-year contracts as he's closer to the end than the beginning, but I'd be surprised if he was delisted this time around.

All depends on whether SOS thinks he can get a kid or trade for a player that improves on Armfield.

Agree though, he would be one of the last that I would delist. Has a great mentality and gives 100% effort no matter what level he plays.
