Adelaide agree *not* to match Geelong's offer for Danger and Geelong then trade their first pick to them for someone rated between 20 and 30 on their list - an Otten or a Lyons or a Henderson - alongside Adelaide's 3rd round selection.

We then take the Adelaide pick, the Adelaide player and Geelong's second pick for our Henderson.

ADELAIDE lose Dangerfield, Otten, 3rd round pick (#48). Gain Compensatory pick (#?) and Geelong's first-round pick (#11).

GEELONG gain Dangerfield and Henderson, lose First-round pick (#11) & second-round pick (#27).

CARLTON lose Henderson for Adelaide's third-round pick (#48), Geelong's second-round pick (#27) and Otten.

* I mention Otten only because of the Talia to Adelaide rumours. Otten would seem to have fewer and fewer opportunities available to him and is a decent enough player.

Of course I'm sure this is *unfair* in some way. To someone. Somehow. The picks will change with free-agent compensation, but two third-round picks secures us SOSOS and Rice, and we then have an extra second-rounder to play with (or send to GWS).

Do you work for Adelaide or Geelong?

No, but I would if they wanted me.

Geez, you'd want to build a lot of 'working from home' days into your contract. Imagine having to relocate over there.

The fact that this piece of shit even gets a gig, let alone being regarded as some sort of "sports business guru", is enough proof on its own that da footy meedya is shameless, and the boy's club is well and truly alive and well.

Also, KB said Kreuzers medical issue is related to something else unrelated to his foot.

Wasnt there some sort of issue with his hips? I remember when he was drafted there was talk of it and it was mentioned then that he may not have a long career.

Cheers, it seems that many had forgotten about these hip issues.
I wonder what his poor body will be like when he gets old.

Any chance Geelong and Adelaide would chip-in to sweeten the deal with dinner, a movie and a tube of KY Jelly before they go tag-team on us?

So trade snap shots at the moment, second round pick and the muppet Walker for Henderson, this is a terrible deal. Hendo will be borderline AA CHB at cats, Walker is a slightly better version of Jones. Surely if looking to rebuild we don't waste our time with bit part players who can't get a game at teams missing the 8.

Yarran put simply its the tigers first pick or he stays. If he wants to sulk then good luck to him as nobody will offer him a contract the following year and if he has a good season then the contract offers would probably get us a first round pick.

I would prefer to see us play hard ball than bend over.

Feel sorry for Cats' Walker being compared with Jones circa 2015 at Carlton.

Jones was a liability.
Who knows? but if he doesn't turn it around in 2016 he continues to be liability.

Walker isnt a head case/ He can play, and has played well when he has.
High calibre players not getting a game is a Geelong problem. Foreign land for Carlton these days.

I'm hoping we get Geelong's first round pick for either this year or next for Henderson depending on how the dangerfield situation works out. Not fussed which year we get it.
