Has some stuff from this thread been removed? A post from HTP led to a small amount of (admittedly off topic) discussion that seems to have been deleted. I don't feel strongly about it, but I'm curious enough to ask the Mods to please explain why. Thanks.

Aside from a decidedly poor choice of words in the original post, I'd like to know why it got deleted too.

Add to that Plowman and Carlisle too, unless we can get them in the PSD, the way to rebuild is THROUGH THE FU%*EN DRAFT.

I'm getting confused with the vegetable speak around here, is a pumpkin better than a spud? How does it compare to a cauliflower?

It's been a few years since the club asked the question but it appears we now know what the Blues have been cooking...a vegetarian fritata!!!

Seriously, why do we bother with these ridiculously complicated multi club player + picks + upgrades propositions? They never, ever happen.

Agree totally. Hurts my head reading them and they rarely come off.

Good. Too young and talented to trade. New coach and new culture coming in. He should be untouchable and looks like he is.

..very hopeful, sure.. ....are you happy to take the gamble..?.. ..his best form was juiced up, he has questionable on field character.. ....and he wants a big payroll.. ..i'd take the first rounder to the draft personally..

Yeah, as I say, I abhor the 'near enough is good enough' approach to recruiting - there's plenty of reasons why it doesn't work that are beyond my powers to explain. A draft pick that high is too valuable to a rebuilding club.

Listening to. 3aw from this side of the world they suggested we were certainties for sumner (GWS). Also said GWS had to off load players to make way for their academy commitments.
