if true just a tried and proven failed strategy of carlton over the last decades....

change must come from the top - a top down wipe out of the Board and a full clean out of internal administration

the board hasnt changed - they are all the same (bar 1 invitational appointment Jenkins )that delivered the clubs 4th wooden spoon..... :donk:

Really? Would you rather us target someone from an Internet forum for the role?

For a Senior position, we are obviously going to try and get the best from another club. Dalrymple or Wright or whoever has the skill set for the role.

ask yourself why they didn't come with all the so called big bucks that was suggested to be offered?

I'll sign up when the board stops being unaccountable.

So changing the paradigm is not having a recruiting boss because you're waiting on his availability for two years is it?
Bwahaha
That's just sinking into the depths of excuse making jim.
But that's the standard of your arguments. I expect nothing more from you. Lol

They can't because they're unaccountable

I reckon internet targets are more savvy than what's there right now.
You're taking about a bunch of people who have ground a great club into dust.. And think they're doing a pretty good job.
In fact it's not that easy to kill a great club the way the current regime have!
It's actually rather complicated and difficult.
For people like mark and the board it's been a piece of cake!
You'd have to say if this was your objective you're very very good and extremely capable.
If this was a desirable objective in sporting operations our people would be highly sought and headhunted world wide.

Unfortunately sport isn't about losers.. Though there are losers for the champions to vanquish.
That's how it works.

Excellence wins in sport..crappiness doesn't

Question.
Does this club deserve to compete in the level that it finds itself.?

Imagine divisions in footy?

Were totally out of our with my friends.
It's not going to change anytime soon

We don't have a recruitment manager but we're in half way through a rebuild! Haha funny yeah?

Is there another club that waits a year on a recruiting guy who happens to be one of the list managers best friends.
Then he comes across only to be immediately pinged for gambling in sport.. Given thirteen months in the sin bin by the afl and we go into the next year of our rebuild without a recruiting manager waiting for the same guy ?
That's totally funny!

Hard to face up to those kinds of facts when you want to believe your club is now on the right track isn't it?
Let's sweep under the carpet and pretend it's not another alarm bell...

The MLG Teflon board is going to totally finish this club off..
To me i get visions of the club is kneeling in an orange jump suit and jihad mark is standing behind it reading a collection of ambiguous statements with his right hand and holding a dagger with his left hand.

Sorry, but the boards unnaccountability is the single biggest reason why the club has fallen to where it is.
Sorry if repeating that bores people.

Nah, the biggest reason would be the persistence with low IQ recruiting and list management. After that a former president who was out of his depth and a former CEO that was more interested in the contents of the next plate of hors d'oeuvres than the progress of his football club.

The board oversees all that, yet some still remain.... because they're unaccountable.

Nobody challenged them. Most supporters can see the change in club operations since August 2014. If a decent ticket had been put together then people would have listened to their thoughts, didn't happen. The board can be composed of rubber chickens for all I care, as long as the prez and CEO are introducing some long range planning and smart appointments to the footy club.
