It’s been a long time been a long time been a long lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely time.

Hey all, to anyone who is a relic of TBV and may remember me, hello, to those of you who don’t well, I have nothing to say to you at all, apart from hello.

Andrew Demetriou – who the hell decided this guy was qualified to be the CEO of a major business entity such as the AFL? Can anyone tell me if he’s done anything in the corporate world that would warrant this? I’d bet my last shred of dignity on the fact that he hasn’t. I call it the Jason Dunstall syndrome, who ever decided he had a personality and put him on the TV, and then made him CEO of Hawthorn? Seriously, morons. Andrew Demetriou is a cretin, any way you slice it. He never says anything of substance when interviewed and clearly has an affinity with female journalists with speech impediments.

Fake Optimism – Every year for the last 5 I’ve been listening to people talk about how Carlton will be ok this year, and I for one even believed them after we won the Wizard Cup last year, I even thought we might push for a finals spot. Let’s all face it, we’re crap, and we will be for a number of years. I love the Blues, don’t get me wrong but in this filthy pinko, commo regime we have now, the only way to the top is the St Kilda approach, sustained periods in the cellar and take the AFL hand outs. The Salvation Army method.

Geelong – seriously wasn’t anyone else jumping around the lounge room when Nick Davis ripped their hearts out? I was, dirty hicks, get back down to your shacks, line dances, rocking chairs, duelling banjos and heartfelt stares at your family members. For a club to get close as many times as Geelong and fail is just pure Gold, who do they think they are? Collingwood?

St Kilda – I was lucky enough to have the privilege of sitting back and watching St Kilda beaten by Sydney in last years finals, I was even luckier to be in a corporate box, representing a company that I knew I was leaving and could take great delight in having too many Crownies and making such comments to the St Kilda supporters in the box as “not even Demetriou can save you nowâ€

I was with you guys up until June 20. After that, life (and Geelong) took on a different meaning.

I was gald to see them bow out, because if they had gone all the way I would be seriously questioning what life is truely about.

This post was good because it quoted some of the rules of posting here...for that it should get: POW!!

PS: Hasn't Mr Miyagi been dead for a few days?

I don't think Bainuzz lives in this country. Maybe with the time difference and all, Mr Miyagi didn't die where he is until today.

Maybe it hurt so much I just couldn't accept it until today, but thanks for your blaze attitude towards this tragedy.

Where's Camel with the "Gold" pic when you need it?

That's the Best post I've read here since Wiggo stopped posting.

I'm sure most of us have thought these things Bainuzz but why bother to type it all out. Say something positive or constructive instead. It aint worth it .

True. Maybe. But why would you bother to breathe if surely that air could be used more constructively for someone who actually had a personality?

1st post for the guy, and that's all you've got to say?

Why should any of us bother?

Welcome back mate. It is great to hear from you again. I was wondering if you had disapeared off into cyberspace and assumed some other identity, but I can see from that post it is still the same ol' Bainuzz. Bloody fanatastic!!

most of us reckon Geelong supporters are in bred banjo playing hicks who love line dancing? I thought it was just me?

Thanks all, it's been a while indeed. Fingers crossed the Blues will do something for us, but I'm not holding my breath for the 2006 season!!

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've hot him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

Great to see that lovely face again Bainuzz.
