Why is our decision making, and skills execution still so crap. It's just embarrassing.

Unfair / disagree. He goes for the ball, bumps fairly and the other guy falls over and gets the free. Most games he does that and we cheer; recently he does that and gives away frees.

Probably reflects an accumulation of years reflecting on how bad (one dimensional) he actually is

The way I see it he has been pretty good most of the last two years until he hurt himself, both forward and in the ruck. Problem is we prefer to play two ruckmen who do nothing when Casboult has been proven time and again to give us something around the ground. He is a much better player when he gets his hands on the ball around the ground and it's always helped him when he's gone forward. Right now we have a 3rd round rookie pick as our only key forward trying to take the heat of the entire defence. We also notice Kreuzer is a WAY better player when he is our sole ruckman with help from Casboult. Both are much better. Don't blame the player, blame the match committee as they are hurting two players output.

Notice when we started winning games this year, it's when we picked a 2nd key forward. Both spread the defence and allowed Casboult to get up the ground more and take a few grabs.

I think you are still trying to polish a few guess.

It's exactly how it has been for a few years. Only had to have watched the game without agendas.

Think we've found why Crows let Kerridge walk. Crap player. You can't teach talent and doesn't have much.

MIL couldn't agree more. Pinning our hopes on two kids.
I'd pay overs for Patton.

What forward line? No one there...

Is this coaching instruction or stupid players?

We'll lose all the gains we've made membership wise etc if we dont act soon. Casboult has lost the plot and Everitt is hopeless. Need to trade hard for a Patton to anchor fwd line while Harry develops.

Bolts honeymoon well and truly over.

And you'd regret it later.

I'm guessing this year is now about defensive systems etc and not scoring so we get draft picks ?

What a terrible qtr by Carlton. What happened to that good form and effort we showed just a few weeks ago.

Team selection is terrible. One ruck too many, persisting with blokes not performing, not playing players who are kicking goals in the NBs. Jaksch is at least a 2nd key forward target. It's when we started winning games and kicking goals when we picked a 2nd key forward, and even better when we played just one ruck with help from Casboult, eg first Collingwood game. Casboult took 11 marks, 7 contested, and kicked 3, Kreuzer played well.

Had enough of Levi. Next to useless.
Trade at the end of the year, not that anyone would pay too much for him.
Everritt invisible.
Gibbs keeps turning it over.
Our rucks aren't much chop.

Yeah, and where would we get the midfielders from? You blokes advocate trading and recruiting tactics that would just perpetuate the pattern we are in right now.
