Geez, what does one have to do to get a bite around here? :P

I will show you Camel

Underated players- For a player to be deemed underated means you didn't recognise their value until they were gone . So with that in mind heres my list.

Beaumont - missed badly in defence over the last two years
Hulme - we were smashed in the clearances hulmey was a good in and under.
Franchinna - Accountabliity how often have we referred to unaccountable footballers in the last year . There was no one at Carlton more accountable.
Murphy - delivery to Fev- Murph was brilliant by foot
Mckernan and Allen- what French would have done for reliable back up ruckman to support him.
Camporeale- who is going to collect htose 400+ possession a year that campo gets.

I always thought Fraser Brown was a very skillful player by hand & foot

Yup Brownie is exactly the sort I was thinking of. As is Phil Pinnell, Des English, Vin Waite ,Rice, Matty Hogg was more than fair.

I reckon Sexton and Ratten get plenty of praise but I'm a little suprised no one mentioned Andy McKay, he has barely raised a mention since he finished.

..and yes Tim Powell was much worse than everyone thinks!

This is going well isnt it? :-D

He was bloody good. Mr Reliable—we had a few of them in that era.

Not for some of us EB!!!!

It's sad to think if we had young versions of most of the guys mentioned on our list now, they'd be anything but underrated - we'd be counting the days until they became "champions"

Gosh, we've been spoilt!!!

Most people don't really get what a good player Percy Jones was. He's often an object of fun or something, but was a good player who always lifted in big games and at big moments. One of the best in our 1972 premiership win.
