Who should be Vice Captain next year?
...and why?

I've decided on Barnaby French because he's a hard worker, well respected by all, plays in a position where he can set the tone and often does, he has experience.

Go Nich!!!!!!

I reckon VC is Nich's Niche.

I reckon this is happening in the nich of time. With Nich as VC we'll stich it up the rest of the comp. Dennis must be liching his lips at the prospect. I'd love to flich through Inside Carlton and find a pich of Nich getting up to his trich's.

Gotta be Nich Stevens, or at least his brother, Nick.

While I'm not an advocate for the "3 captains" method of Sydney, we do need some players who can provide captain-like leadership either if Kouta gets injured, or even in tandem with him, so that we have 2 "generals" on the field getting the troops to all work together.

As long as we don't go "rotational", then that's fine.

I keep hearing calls for innovation - perhaps we could start a new trend.

We could have "on-field Vice Captain" and "off-field Vice Captain".

Chambers is a pretty good bloke and goes hard on the track though not so hot on-field at the moment - make him off-field VC.

Kouta.

Murphy is the only player who can lead us to a flag next year.

Lance, he's a natural leader. He's a "like a general" on the forward line at times. Think he'd make a good captain actually. The responibilty of leading by example, as a captain should, should encourage him keep his weight at respectable levels, although, really, you'd like to see that before hand.
