Interesting Sheik - I saw it as a compliment and a brief discussion about early 1990's clothing trends.

I didn't really read much of the actual thread.... because I saw Sheik and co and thier jabs...so I thought I just may aswell gloss over it.

Annnnyyyywwaaayyy.......

I'm entirely hopeful that when I have kids I will definitely be their biggest influence.....so considering the amount of joy my blue boys give to me it will rub off on my kids...

blues all the way.... :-D

If you have kids and they are plain and simple, then maybe another team may be more approppriate

Apologies to all of those who come to places like TalkingCarlton to get away from talk about babies....

My life has been swamped with it; I have to share the pain around...

tell me about it - three friends this year announcing that a baby was coming. last year it was marriages and now kids in 2005/2006.

one question though molsey, even if its let them have a choice wouldn't you want to lead them in a certain way?

No choice in the matter. I named my eldest Rhys James (as close as I could get)... couldn't get Alvin through the senate.

Went to his first game at 6 weeks old (almost 4 years ago) and still hasn't seen a win. :(

At 3pm today, 88% of 763 people voted to Bring them up Blue.

Last week, I registered MMM as a Carlton member. It will be born in May 2006. Let's see how I go keeping it on the straight & narrow.

How many kids do you have IS? At 18 you should have a couple by now?

I've got three kids all girls they were all given Carlton knitted jumpers when they were born . Two of them have sat through Cartlon Game after Game . Last year they said to me that Carlton suck and one now follows The Saints like her Grandpa and the other follows The Swans like her mother. I still have hope for the third as she is only 5 months old by the time she is old enough to realise whats going on hopefully we will be winning again.

You should give your kids guidance but ultimately they have to make their own decisions . My 12 year old was guttered when the Saints lost that final this year. So I let her know she should get used to that feeling if she is going to follow a side like St Kilda. Like a typical Saints supported she responded by giving me a friendly bird.

There should be no question here... and all this talk about changing teams... That's not even allowed. In primary school we learned the word "traitor" specifically for this situation...

I wasn't raised Blue, my Dad and brother are *gulp* Essenscum fans, but this has given me and them more ammunition at times... Now my brother screams "We never won a spoon in my lifetime..."... I am biding my time until the end of this season...
