No you you would be the squeaky wheel.
Methinks some take thier footy way to seriously. I follow Carlton because they have given me enjoyment over many years, I still enjoy going to the games and I do enjoy winning far more than losing, but at the end of the day it is just a game.
A couple of years ago I realised that I was taking it all to seriously when I started to lose sleep over footy and that it was taking over my life to the point of having a seriously damaging effect and my personal and professional life. It was no longer 'fun'
Now footy ranks about sixth on my list of priorities. I am 'happy' we are on the bottom? No. I am 'happy' that the club is struggling financially? No. Do I want to see us be successful again? Absoloutly! But for me the best way I can support the club, is to buy my memberships, get along to games, buy the merchandise and yell myself hoarse week in week out for the boys, groan when they play poorly, cheer when they do well. In short enjoy myself. We will be successful again, the structure is being put in place, the players are being assembled for this to happen, the hard yards are being done. And when we are I will celebrate as hard as anybody else, but be buggered if I will shit can anybody on the way.
Yeah I agree BM,we all seem to take the game too seriously, prior to Andy being drafted, I was a passionate Geelong supporter,I would always take out my frustrations by chopping wood.Geelong's progress could always be gauged by the height and volume of my woodpile.
