I don't think Braddles will be considering a return to PP until we see the back of Denis!

Essendon*'s recent plan seems to be to keep at least two Carlton veterens on the books.

It might be harsh but good luck to him!
Never saw rats get a kick at Melbourne or Sellers at the aints or SOS at the bullies and I'm sure he wont get a kick at the bummers so he got a job... Good!
I've got a job too!

The first $25,000 of his salary might be considered paid as an advance from the signing on fee he took from the Bumbers in 1985.

He has a lot to pass on.....

How to refuse to train with your team mates until your lucrative contract is signed.

How to announce your retirement through the AFL instead of the club that looked after you for 15 years.

The problem with this club is we idolise remnants that are at least in part responsible for bending us over.
What BV says is right.
If it were up to Braddles he would still be playing for us.. but signing his contract right about now...(a fat contract)
We got done for salary cap rorts two times involving Braddles.

Good player... but was part of why were where were at today.

For the record we have Platten a car to come to us... he never gave it back!!!

Exactly.

A great player who helped us win our 15th and 16th flags and smashed Doull's record. :-D

Doesn't deserve to be spoken of in such terms.

Ok so he took and took until there is nothing left to take....

Yes he does!!!!

Any club captain that refuses to train with his teamates till he gets what he wants should never have been club captain...

Doesnt deserve to be spoken in the same breath as Bruce Doull.. Doull played great football and asked for nothing to play for us.

Bradley played great footaball as long as we bent over for him.. age 37.

Both great players.., but only one was a great Carlton clubman.

I think its no surprise were in the shits we are as far as money and loyalty (see Campo) when some of you idolise and condone such behaviour

It kjind of serves us right...

I appreciate your hurting like the rest of us but the fact remains regardless of contract negotiations he gave a hell of a lot to this club. If you are happy to wallow in the past we will never move forward(I use you as a general term). I am lookking forward to this year. I can finally see some progress since Denis has been on board. I regret losing Campo but can also see positives to come from it. From the accounts that I have read the tempo at training indicates team mates with a far better bond than we have seen in recent years.

I also appreciate that we may not see results for some years to come, but unlike other clubs who continue to repeat their mistakes we will learn and be a power again.

These lessons have been hard learnt (given our proud history) and wont be easily forgotten (I hope), no more recruiting to top up but to have a stong base(have to play by their rules now no more 19s ressies etc).

Go Blues

Is this the same Doull that in all honesty spoke more to me in one minute than he has to you in your life.

He abused the living shit out of me as a young teenager, in front of my father becuase I asked for his signature. He was having a smoke at training and I had the rudeness of youth to request a signature. It wasnt one or two words as some may be accustomed to but a hell of a tirade.

After training he appologised and gathered signature from alot of our legends for me. For which he won my respect back forever. But Saint Bruce he aint.

He was compensated very well and rearded greeatly to serve this club.

Its those that came before him that paved the way for him to be a great at a great club.

What was his legacy to those coming behind him???

Thats where were suffering...

What is anyones legacy today for Walker and Murphy and Co???

Thats what i cant stomach with these blokes.

Bradley doesn't deserve to be even mentioned in the same breath as Camporeale given Craig's record. Craig has definitely given more than he earned and left us with positive memories unlike that friend of Hamill!

And who has condoned Campo's behaviour? :?

Pull your head in!
