If believe Channel 2's coverage of this game is from a slightly different camera angle to Channel 7, so Harmes' tap in is slighlty clearer. Would make for interesting viewing, if someone can watch and tape this game there would be a fair amount of interest from the troops here - maybe you can send Eddie a copy.

The ABC version of the Harmes incident shows the ball was in and is a better coverage of the game overall.

I think it was Heywood calling the Saints mighty 1 point win last night.

The skill level in that 66 flag was very amusing and I would be so proud of my club if that was the only premiership I could own. :garthp:

I would have to move out of The Boys' house today, and lose access to the DTV.

That's because the 7 production crew were on strike and so the station exec's did the camera work and (probably) direction.

Thank Juzz Carlton.

I have seen the above mentioned g/finals a few times - I looked ata the abc link too late - and missed the sanfl g/final being shown on abc2 but will definitely have a look at the WAFL one...

Channel 7 deleted their record of the 1964 VFL grand final, but at least who ever was in charge of the footy in WA got it right...

Channel 7 has a lot to answer for... a lot of missing footy.

Thanks for the tip Bill,

I never knew that, but you're right, it looks like it's on Channel 126. There's no mention of it on the Foxtel web site and it's not even mentioned on the list of free to air channels on the Foxtel menu. No wonder I never knew!

I'll try it out when I get home.

How good was the dominator in this game? Him, Francis and Harmes should have had a three way tie for the Normie Smith

Ray Shaw and Billy Picken: now I remember why I hate the filth so much
Reasons why I love the Blues so much: Bruce Doull, time stood still when he got the ball. Swan Mackay, how good would it be if Brett Thornton turned out to be as versatile. Mark Maclure, better than I remember, much more mobile. The Dominator, Alex Marcou, barrel-chested Wayne Harmes. Barry Armstrong, not one of my favorites at the time but, gee he played a great game. Kenny Sheldon. And on it goes. Can't wait for tonight to see the mosquito fleet in full flight :-D :-D :-D

By the way, how frikken HUGE was Rene Kink? He make the other guys look like Mr. Puniverse  .
