weiters and saad looked sore and gov wasn't running real well at the end either.

Perfect time to have a home game against the Eagles with the mental state the boys are in

Mind you, Weiters is the most important of the lot imo, so hope he's good. I mean goodest.

Fair to say I owe JSOS and Motlop an apology. Wasn't impressed in their form this year, happy they got dropped to be honest. I think the culture and energy around the club has turned and great teams always make just ok players look heaps better than they look in poor teams.

Any word on Harry's knee injury?

Don’t forget Port Adelaide were (according to the Master Click Baiter Kane Cornes) a little banged up.

Hewett
Newman...both Swans boys. Amazing.
Acres...FMD. Mundy personified

DeKoning...playing like he wants to play for The Blues
SOS...playing like he bleeds blue, and fits in Vossy's game plan

amazing the positive impact they all had on the whole
They did'nt cost much today.

Martin is a superstar, Cyril like, if we manage him right....another import

I really didnt expect less.
It has come together a while back, and we saw bits they looked like the finished product, but losing 6 in a row, FMD, tests anyones patience.
I still believe we will make finals and have enjoyed the ride for 5 weeks now. Better to fake an orgasm that sitting in despair.

Go Blues

Wow - once H went off and AA went to Charlie I thought our key advantage was gone. At that point our mids had low stats and Port were catching us... and then BANG.
I have been a motlop doubter but 4 goals. Always been a fan of JSOS - great to see him shine. Fantastic from Gov, Newman, Acres early, TDK and then the usual Charlie Cripps and Walsh. Paddy a serviceable sub!
Any idea about how bad the injuries are? H, Owies and possibly Gov and Cerra?
Looking for any hope in this regard...

They got banged up doggy style and then we went for the bone when it was free, after humping them in 2's and 3's

Almost all stats both sides even. 50 point win. Yet in many of our losses we headed the stat count. Please explain

Gov was fantastic. I'm on the fence with him, but an ex fanatic, but been lovin just about everything of the last 3 games, sfter I called him for being in preservation mode.

Walsh is a Gladiator.
Criips is a Gradiator.
Cerra is a Gladiator
Hewett is a Gladiator
Docherty is a Gladiator

I could go on, buts that's the midfield without Kennedy.
I'm thinking players who would stand up in Finals.

Saad, Weitering, Charlie, Newman, Acres, Martin, SOS, (Harry is) and tonight I saw something that looked like TDK in Navy Blue for a long time.

and the kids....all of them. All of them fkd up, but responded, and at times won it back and won their position.

FMD. Selfless Footy. That's what I'm talking about. The squad of 30 is good enough to play selfless footy. So much talent when we play as a team of a million first rounders and a lot of imports.

4 and 0 since my chat with a senior club person  :smoking:

Hoping like hell Harry’s injury is not too bad.

Well done. I trust we all took to extreme measures to snap this team back into consciousness, I hopes I know I did! I don't listen, watch or monitor games now!

I think they needed to work though a lot of psychological trauma and that always takes time to do properly. Coaches and all the playing group need to be congratulated, it's clearly been on the back of a whole of club lift.

Personally, I can't help noting that since that moment the nephew of the bloody-sucking pokie-ming was asked to walk off a short plank, the energy and purpose around the CFC went to where we all knew it could and should be. No such thing as a coincidence!

We were trying to hold possession before by chipping it around.
It didn't work because we weren't able to get it forward enough before skill error would cause a turnover.
Now we're moving the ball forward faster.
We risk turnover by taking risks but overall create more scoring opportunities

Well done, Blueboys.

Motlop took his chance.
There was good reason why he was omitted.
He's a kid. He's had a break from the battering of the AFL after a dozen games. It will do it to any kid.
We had plenty of young, fresh legs tonight, like Motlop.
Not that I was looking at their legs.

While we were kicking 6 goals a game and a complete mess of a side a kid like Motlop as a small forward had no hope. Now we are playing normal footy again (normal + actually) Motlop's talents can shine.

More direct, bold play. Moved the ball quickly through the corridor and put them under pressure
