Marchbank has 1 full Game under his belt... that's about his range... he will either pull out this week or breaks down as usual.
I also expect Martin to break down too.....and McGovern is due for a Hammy

Geez, you must be a real hoot at parties!

As a Club, we have always had a Poor run with Injuries and surely it is more than just a run of back luck.
All the more reason to send some positive vibes their way and not try to jinx them when they are finally stringing some games together and showing great form.
I don't even joke about injuries to the opposition - whether you believe in karma or not is irrelevant - it is just distasteful.
No I don't believe in Karma... I believe in something called " Let's chill & have some fun ".
Positive vibes always bring negative Results but Negative comments always bring positive results!! That's how it always been with our footy Club!
On a more Serious note, the Club needs to do a full Review of its medical Team and try to work out why we have so many injuries every year... They need to look at things like:
- Do we have the right Training Regime in place?
- Do we have the right Diet regime for the players?
- Are players getting enough rest/sleep during off days? are they eating the right foods?
- Are we going too hard during the off season and causing uneccessary soft injuries?
- Are we recruting injury prone players without checking their full history?
And this one is a big one for me and I have brought it up once with the club:
- Are We training on a good/suitable Ground? I ask that because I find Ikon Park oval way too hard, last time I ran there, my Knee started to make funny noises lol.
or
the AFL Commission's insistent desire to change the rules of the game, I expect for good reason, but failed to see the obvious repercussions to not applying the rules our forefathers penned. Our forefathers knew change to the rules on field would turn the game into Rugby Union (there was no league at the time, and may have never been if the VFL agreed to take the game there). The game was for athletes who didnt want to get injured during the cricket off season.
The game is brutal on the whole body nowdays.
In the past it was brutal to the head from king hits and shirtfronts. It was a slower game because push in the back was paid, holding the ball was paid, throwing the ball was paid. Let that all be play on and we have mauls.
Not you specifically Dodo but a lot of fans want to blame our Medical and Fitness staff for our injuries. Even before an enquiry? Sure have one but hold fire in the time being.
We have close to the best if not the best Medical & Fitness people at our club. Prove its not. The CV tells us they are amongst the best in business.
Blaming is normal being a Carlton supporter when we are down. But we've won 6 in a row by an av of 52 Points. We will beat Saints with the missing 5 best 22 players.
