So far this season Lance has hardly put a foot wrong....
Well done to Lance... he only has eight months to go....

How to refuse to train with your team mates until your lucrative contract is signed.

How to announce your retirement through the AFL instead of the club that looked after you for 15 years.

I usually respect you posts, but get over It  .

The problem with this club is we idolise remnants that are at least in part responsible for bending us over.
What BV says is right.
If it were up to Braddles he would still be playing for us.. but signing his contract right about now...(a fat contract)
We got done for salary cap rorts two times involving Braddles.

Good player... but was part of why were where were at today.

For the record we have Platten a car to come to us... he never gave it back!!!

Some more words of wisdom

Once again, comments like that show you have your head stuck up your arse and your anything to do with the elliott days, you will continue to blame as our current demise.

I don't F@%&#! get you at all! I shouldn't even bother with inane, pathetic comments like that. Why am i wasting my breath debating with some clown who berates anyone who disagrees, and never for one minute takes on board the opinions of others, often spitting abuse when he realises others are disagreeing with him.

Hey, sos was part of that era. I suppose he is a disgrace as well, and his service wasn't worth it all because of where we are at now.

Synbad, What more could these players have done?!

Well done Braddles. Good luck with your coaching apprenticship at the dons (Who gives a f..k, he is a 370+ game player). He has done enough good at Carlton.

Synbad, one thing you can't deny is bradley's work ethic and lifestyle. I know your not that stupid to think that because you can be quite intelligent sometimes.

His fitness and durability led him to go on way past Sticks, Diesel and these types. That's incredible.

Hopefully Braddles you'll be back at Carlton someday, but best of luck to you mate.

I think youre the one wityh your head so far up your arse youre giving yourself a heady fist.

You obviously have such a small small mind.. and youre interested in very small things.... and very easily pleased as a person you eat steak and eggs .. and drink beer when you can afford it and water when you cant.....

Who cares about durability of Bradley in 2006.. what we want is someone who would have passed the torch to the kids and left the club the same way as he found it from the generation before.

Why would you have a tug over a F@%&#! you had 10 years ago when youve been a virgin for the last eight..????

Beats me!!!... but thats you!!!...

Another brilliant argument synbad! I care about now but it's understandable to bag players like whitnall, fevola, allan others with either money or weight issues but bradley did his all for the CFC.

It dissappoints me people like you show such a lack of respect. I'm sure if we were at the top, you would be saying how great bradley was to the club. A typical hypocritical attitude you would have.

You must be fuming that Brett Ratten is assistant coach at Melbourne. Wipe your eyes and get over it!!!

I look at things balanced and fairly, you look at things one eyed with a tunnel vision perspective. I way up the good and bad of each situation, you weigh the bad in every situation bagging kouta and the leadership group for the rest of the tems efforts (apart from your obsession with young up and coming players like luke livingston - No.4 pick!).

You call that balanced. You can bag kouta but you can't bag a no.4 draft pick who we have shown a painful amount of patience and has delivered and progressed so little. That's double standards. Because they are young, they are immune from criticism where others have walked the walk and cop it on behalf of the rest of the team.

Get a calculator and add it up!

I suppose you can't stand Alex Jesaulenko because he coached poorly for Carlton in the early 90's. Forget Jezza, doull, sticks, diesel, nicholls, bradley, they have nothing to do with the current carlton.

Yes, not on the field. But that you can't acknowledge these players for their work ethic, talents, achievements and what they've done for the club is a joke.

What else do you have for us, Synbad!

Well, I reckon he could tell you Ratten hasnt been at Melbourne since 2004. :?

Surely your "balanced view" would know that.

No1 Blue synbads arguement is pretty simple and that is if you put your hand out for the big dollars your expected to perform and your expected to show loyalty and show the way for the young blokes in the club.

Its a simplistic view on thinngs but has some merit- He just chooses to over look the coach and his performance for the money he is being paid

So...what about Braddles taking up the assistant job at Essendon* hey? Good luck to him.

And re the other 25 pages of this thread - I think the No-Knowthing Clubb and Wojee are well ahead in that debate.

Essendon* is still on the lookout for one part-time assistant coach after former Carlton champion Craig Bradley turned down a job offer from the Bombers because of work commitments.

I reckon if Braddles applied for the job and knocked it back.. he has no credibility as a professional .
You cant do that two years in a row and expect to have any credibility... no matter of its Essendon* or anywhere else...

Terrible form...

Wouldn't be the first person to apply for a job, get it, and then turn it down. I have heard from a reliable source he is the 5,693,540th person in Australia to do that since 2002.

We really cover some important issues here, don't we!!

More likely scenario is he was approached, expressed an interest...thought it over and went...nah.
