Exactly right Wojee, its because of the way he plays (whole hearted, everthing is done at 100%)...thats why I loved the guy.

He's still a money grubbing punt though.

Have you got a sceech imcediment? :P

Wojee, just wondering whether you would change jobs for $200k per year???

I probably would, but I wouldn't then lie and say it was because my boss teased me.

However, if I was playing football for the team I grew up supporting, was getting paid as per my standing in the b&f and was looking at possibly being a future captain, then wild horses couldn't drag me away.

Dougy gets quite fired about young Aaron.

Its not just you, its me too.

Hamill leaving was one thing, lying about the reasons is another story.

Wiping your arse with the #4 guernsey is the biggest insult you could make.

Damn straight. He was the first player I genuinely hated. I mean total despisal - how DARE he leave Carlton! And that was before I found out about the extenuating circumstances...

Well youre just a "garden variety" supporter, would you change teams for $2k a year? barrack for COllingwood for $2,000??

I wouldnt for $20k per year.

Mate I have no idea what a garden variety supporter is but let me say this, noone bleeds blue more than me, I put my wallet where my mouth is each and every year, not just for me but my whole flower family, even when I was living in Brisbane. You make these ridiculous uneducated comments about me when you wouldnt know me from a bar of soap!!! I gave my opinion about a player that I know gave his all for this club when he was here and you start making comments about me for it!!! Mate perhaps you should go and follow St Kilda because that sort of attitude is the sort of behaviour that seems to follow wherever St Kilda plays!!! You arent a real supporter mate, just some bitter uneducated cretin the likes of whom this great footy club doesnt need!!! Go Blues!!

That was a bit over the top BlueDW. What is and isn't a 'real' supporter? And if you don't know what a 'Garden-Variety' supporter is, why take such offence to being tagged with that name? I daresay by 'Gerden-Variety' what EB meant was that you're not famous, a player or anything like that - just an ordinary Joe who loves the club like we all do. Tarring someone with the 'Go follow St Kilda/Not a Real Supporter/Bitter Uneducated Cretin' brush is pretty low. I daresay it makes you look more bitter than EB in this case. And if he doesn't know anything about you, what makes you think you know anything about him?

I hate Hamill. That's a fact, and I'm not going to change my opinion of him. You respect him because of what he did while he was at Carlton - that's your opinion and you're welcome to it. Doesn't mean I agree though.

I was about to have a crack at you too...but thats a good way to earn some respect :)

I respect the way Aaron played at Carlton, I once said after a tackle he layed on Libba that I dont care if he touches the ball when he's doing that....I dont think Deano and halford would disagree with that.

It was the way he left that leaves a bad taste in people's mouths. Lying about the reasons and asking for and then deserting the #4 made famous by the most loyal player in history

Nah, I don't. Watching the 99 PF ( :-D ) he had a big impact on the game, looked like a long-term player. But to do what he did...no respect for him at all now.

Well said Wojee.

Somehow I don't think Hamill would have been on the poverty line had he stayed.
