Should have gone mini rebuild after Teague was sacked. Overrated our list. Common story over about 4 rebuilds now.

Now we are in a huge hole. Our young players are awful because we didn’t invest better in this area and have relied on top ups thinking we were close.

Cripps is past his best. Doherty is cooked and our ruckman is a good chance of leaving.

This reminds me of 2014 when you could see the list had peaked and little youth coming through.

Disaster is awaiting us again.

Talent goes a long way. Coaches bringing that out and instilling belief goes further. No shit coaches have ever won a flag relying on player talent alone.

Plenty of mediocre lists and clubs have won flags with coaching and belief

He had some good moments but that Lewis Young turnover in the last was a killer. Took a nice mark, could have gone back, instead kicked it straight to them. Ball goes forward for them, goal.

10 goals up still wouldn't matter.

It's nothing to do with talent they have the talent.
They don't have the mental capacity.

You watch when the season is totally shot and top 4 is out of reach and the pressure valve is released they will come out and flog any team that is put in front of them.

I want apologise to Lewis Young - what a great game he played - who would have thought that moving one of our key defensive pillars into the forward line and relieving in the ruck would pay off so handsomely- 2 goals a few hit outs - just a couple of things to tidy up but I think there is really something to work with there - he could prove to be a very versatile swingman, that we’ve needed since Levi Casboult

Too many of our outside players are butchers and have no hurt factor.... actually they only hurt Carlton.

Compare to someone like D'Ambrosio who can slice through a zone and open the game up.

Also midfielders that rarely kick goals.
