he was always going to be a "speculative investment"

if he can get himself right, there's a big upside for us. If he can't, we lost pick 50-something in a weak draft

Hate to be a bearer of bad news but I was told he will struggle to play the majority of the year and TD  will make it even worse for him. It doesn't sound good to me, but I'm sure others in the know will enlighten us better.

Is it just me, or do these lines make you think of Denis doing the finger quote as he says them:

"He had what they call a baker's cyst on his knee..."

"have what they call a flush-out"

It was a light clean out. Nothing more, nothing less. Nothing structural. Enough of the 'Woe is me' posts. He will be okay.

Disappointed that he wasnt playing yesterday - wanted to see how he would go - still think he is a worthy inclusion in a backline that needs stability poise and grunt- still have trouble hitting targets coming out of bachk half
Still a good punt Surrey for pick 52 in any case given Hay cost 2 first round draft picks

That is the way we have to think, and it could yet work out that way.
