Jack is so petulant. Lets move on. He is like his father exactly. Hope he goes where there is no success and we dont ever welcome him back to the club at all.

And we talk about leaders. Docherty wishes him the best no matter where he plays. OHHHHH how nice.

This is everything wrong with this club..........

I'd take Dylan Shiel as a delisted free agent if the money was right.

His pace would be a point of difference in our slow midfield. The guy by all reports is a model pro on the track. I like the idea of picking up the guy we offered millions to for the bare minimum. Yes there's disposal issues but I think there's more pros than cons.

Scum have got a couple of good smalls to draft this year.

We could make a play for Jade Gresham & find a development job for Boomer Harvey.

Not sure why he or whoever is managing him is parading him around like a prized bull.

I find it very tacky and disrespectful.

Essendon* coach Brad Scott met with Carlton free agent Jack Silvagni in a bid to join the race for the out-of-contract defender.

Scott spoke with Silvagni, 27, at his home in Melbourne’s east last week as the Carlton defender weighs up a bombshell move to leave the Blues at season’s end.

Essendon* is in the market to bolster its back half but is yet to fully commit to an offer for Silvagni.

The Bombers did not comment on the matter when contacted on Wednesday.

But the meeting with the Bombers’ senior coach shows the club has serious interest in landing the versatile defender who could arrive without costing the club a draft pick in a trade.

Silvagni was accompanied by his manager, TGI boss Tom Petroro, at the Scott meeting.

Collingwood remains the favourite to land Silvagni after the Herald Sun last month revealed the Magpies had strong interest in the Carlton father-son gem.

The Blues are growing less confident of keeping Silvagni who has a big decision about whether to leave the club where his father and grandfather are greats.

Essendon* is interested in bolstering all facets of the ground as it prepares to take a bumper hand to this year’s draft as Ben McKay, Jordan Ridley and Zach Reid battle persistent injuries.

The club could also lose ruckman Sam Draper to Brisbane or Adelaide.

But his free agency compensation would be diluted if Silvagni arrived as a free agent which is a consideration for the club.

Once heard a Saints fan say Gresham turns it over more than a stir fry and I haven't been able to unhear it.

Nah.
Disposal first, speed second.
He gets the ball, but I don't actually think he's that quick.

Saints supporters are idiots.

Besides, we’d get him for half a mars bar & we’d only be in it for Tyson’s development. He’s no speed machine, but he’s got a good tank & is excellent between the ears.

If Fantasia calls it a day & we cut bait with Motlop, he’ll cover both.

The Scum are desperate to get Duff-Tytler, but they’ll need move up the order to do it. We’d be mad not to be a part of those conversations.

ITK on Big Footy claims that we are chasing Max Gruzewski from GWS.

Last time we loaded up with fringe GWS players I suspect that SOS's ego was a significant factor.
Hopefully it would be different this time.

Mid sized forward. Seen him play a few times as depth option, shown a few skills but no remarkable features.
