Imagine being 26 years old an okay footballer, no B&F, Brownlow, AA, getting offered $7.7M dollars to keep playing with your mates, and saying nope I'm off for $12.6M. Reckon Wrighty can't believe his luck with this StKilda offer madness and Jack Silvagni's greed, and now Curnow wanting a bigger pay day. Need to move on McKay whilst people still think he's not a total flake.

Yeh sure lets get rid of Harry and Charlie. And have Lewis young as our main forward.

And all the flaky small forwards we have.

How about Francis Evans as full forward ?

Lets be serious. A Charlie and Harry dont grow on trees.

Serious? Dont know about you, but i am sick of this team losing. Dont want to be at the bottom again while we rebuild.

Losing TDK and JSOS weakens the list

Austin needs to replace them with similar quality and add more

I haven't heard or seen anywhere that established players are coming to Carlton therefore we will be relying on an injury free season to make steps forward again. We will get improvement from the younger brigade that got starts this year be it wont be enough to get us the 6 or so wins we need.

List management is exactly what the name says and to have the likes of TDK , JSOS and Matt Kennedy leave the club means our list management is in a poor state

Voss wont see out next year unless we keep players on the park and bring in quality - Austin almost cost him his job this year but thankfully GW saw what the issue was - he wont be able to hold back the public opinion next year if it is like this year as most supporters don't see where the real problem is.

I'm not sure management of a club that respond purely to public opinion is one that I would rate. If Voss is the best person for the job then he is irrespective of public /supporter opinions.

Some great differences of opinion here. Here's hoping you get the opportunity to come on here and say 'I told you so'.

But the Carlton of 2023 is long gone and so has the playing style. The game evolves. Voss needs to prove to Wright that he can evolve too.

Here's what I'd do. By gutting the list, I mean I want these changes made. It's Carlton, so it's unlikely to happen. I'll be happy with just McKay and Silvagni gone to be honest.

 Adam Saad = Delist/Retire
 Alex Cincotta = Delist
 Blake Acres = Trade
 Elijah Hollands = Delist
 Flynn Young = Delist
 Francis Evans = Delist
Harry McKay = 1st Rnd return
Jack Silvagni = 2nd Rnd return
 Jaxon Binns = Trade
 Jesse Motlop = Trade
 Mitch McGovern = Delist
 Orazio Fantasia = Delist
 Sam Docherty = Retired
Tom De Koning = 1st Rnd return

Now we are at season end I am going to revisit my thoughts based on Doc's thoughts.

Adam Saad = Delist/Retire - Plenty to take his place
Blake Acres = Trade - Plenty to take his place. So much to like but such a poor kick.
Jack Silvagni = I want him to stay, but get what we can otherwise.
Jaxon Binns = Trade - Can't see him making it. Not enough tricks.
Jesse Motlop = Trade - As above. A bit player
Mitch McGovern = Delist - Plenty to take his place
Orazio Fantasia = Delist - Sadly injury prone. We need his skills but he can't stay on the park.
 Sam Docherty = Retired
Tom De Koning = 1st Rnd return
Jordan Boyd = Delist - Plenty to take his place

Elijah Hollands = Keep
Flynn Young = Keep - Has shown continued improvement
Francis Evans = Keep - Revelation these past 5 weeks. Foot skills alone keep him on list
Harry McKay = Keep - Vossy says No
Alex Cincotta = Keep - Needs a pre-season to see where he is at. His best is strong enough but we will see.

I'm keeping Cincotta and delisting Boyd only because Cin had a terrible run with injury and couldn't get himself right. I would love to see him have a full pre-season.

Harry Charleson can fill Boyd's role from what I have seen.

So glad Billy Wilson got a look in late, and I think he's a keeper.

The Irish boys - No idea.

Lemmy - No idea. Turned 21 in Jan 2025. I think worth another year as Talls take forever.

Lewis Young - I suspect if HOF didn't fall off the perch for 2026, Lewis would be gone, but as it is, he's Security.

Huge pre-season for Moir and the Campo's. They need to be in best 25 right from the start.

Durdin gets one more year to make his mark.

I wonder if Newman can play wing? I would love him pumping the ball inside 50 all day long.

Regards Cazzesman

Are you suggesting Elijah wouldn't get a game based on his AFL talent or the issues he faced in 2026?

E.Hollands not get a game elsewhere? What the hell are you smoking?

HOF is out 12 months, JSOS going, L. Young will get another year. Lucky him but we keep him as back up.

He may well retire but who are the plenty to take his place? Talking about pace and quick close down speed which leads to a spoil. One of the few who is smart enough to kick the ball off the ground in tight situations. Others who are not so smart keep getting caught out.

I remember thinking I loath StKilda supporters a couple of times previously, Hamill & Salary Cap times, but this TdK steal is growing to new heights from this rabble. Suddenly they are best thing since slice break. They just don’t understand were they belong in the AFL world.

You kidding right.
Of course club managers gauge public opinion the public pays their bills.
If we stink it up again and membership drop, crowds stop turning up they will react
