Walter and 6 for Charlie I would do, then turn 9 + Motlop into something else with WC.

Pick 3, or 5 for one of our mids

If we were going to get pick #3 or #5 for Cerra then we would have to give something back in return.
Pick 1 would need to be bundled with Cerra

The jungle drums are beating that Gov will be traded and there are a few teams interested.

Also, some "rumour's" Motlop will be shopped around.

I saw a post on BF suggesting both McGovern and Motlop have agreed to contract terms but are also open to being traded.

I saw a disappearing post on twitter that BK has got another deal? Good business if true.

EB! Wow.
Any news on the Judd deal? Do you think #3, #20 and Bower will get the deal done?
Would prefer to hang on to JK. Despite Pagan’s obsession on throwing him into the ruck I reckon the kid has shown plenty up forward…

17 years between posts.

That’s got to be some kind of record…

Jay Clark or Jye Clark .. whatever his name is.. on the First Crack throws out the name Jed Walters for Charlie.
Are these people in the media mental?
The feeding frenzy I find dusgusting.

Ok so give up a dual Coleman for a speculative pick who is big but drops easy uncontested marks.
Yep. Seems logical.
Where is the equity?
Curnow is the last person we should be trading.

Next these media people will throw out any name just to keep the media frenzy cooking.
How about GWS’s Jesse Hogan. Straight swap.
Yep. Ok you genius.

How many players in the league are dual Coleman medallists?
2!!!
Jeremy Cameron & Curnow.

And then Clark was basically saying “Carlton just has to accept whatever is offered them as the AFL’s nepobaby needs Curnow to win a premiership.”
FO!

But yet when we want a mid tiered player we have to give up the world.

Carlton don’t need to do shit with Curnow. His manager and these interested clubs need to get to work to blow our socks off!

Charlie has NO leg to stand on here.

Debatable. Anyone who wants to leave probably isn't the last person the club should be trading. So, serious question...do you remove him from the leadership group? Personally, I'm not convinced you can have a co-vice captain who wants out.

Should never have been there in the first place.

He’s a big kid, not a leader.

Low balled.

It seems we don't mind them as depth, but if we can get picks we can bundle with late picks/ future picks and trade on for improvements

Bondi. Who is this mid we are trading for pick 3 or 5. I can’t think of any mids that we have worth that much except for Cripps or Walsh.

Anyone coming out of contract next year/ RFA or UFA. Clubs would prefer to get 2 good picks for good players instead of a compo if an RFA or UFA.
They don't have to be coming out of contract in 2026, it could be 2027. That sort of trade depends on how much the player wants to leave.
Charlie Curnow, for example is worth a quality player/ AA plus a top 10 pick. I don't think Walter if that quality player yet, let alone AA.

Lets see if there's a few from a couple clubs coming out of contract in 2026:

Buku Khamis WB RFA
Bailey Lions RFA
Answerth Lions RFA
McIerney Swans RFA
Switkowski Freo RFA
Briggs GWS RFA
Reeves Haw RFA
Sparrow Melb RFA
Butters PM RFA
Allir PM RFA
West WB RFA

Wines PM UFA
Pink NM UFA
Banfield Freo UFA
Voss Freo UFA

Urquart NM contract
Sanders WB contract
Tsatas Eff contract
Howard StK contract
Butler StK contract
Gruzewsji GWS Contract
Gothard GWS Contract

Holy guacamole, there's heaps, and more.....pick a couple you'd like for 2 first rounders (one a Top 10 pick)

Anyones guess?

Is it time for the abovementioned teams to cash in this year? Port have a new coach, Footy Mgr has left for carlton, I don't think Wines is worth anything as a UFA, and if our windoe is open, he may take unders just to be in the squad...haven't heard any such thing, but just saying.

Bondi we can’t trade everyone. Where is our depth coming from?

So far we get Chesser, Buku and Reidy? The rest can’t be draftees. We haven’t been linked to anyone else.
