Guys just a ??????

My question is not are we close to making the 8 or winning a flag but......

Are we close to folding as a club......

Its just that with all these negative reports and the imminent announcement of another major loss I am really scared that I am not going to have a club to follow in the not to distant future

if anyone casn shed some light and put my mind to rest I would really appreciate it.

And please dont make this a its Jacks fault or its Collos fault thread...

FOLDING, no way.

We have our youngest and most exciting team ever. We have been the best club for 105 years, and 5 years of not being finals will kill us, i dont think so.

AFL must have 16 teams so no I'm pretty sure we're not.

Correct IS, we've been a major part of keeping this comp going for 100 years. The most successful of the big 4 with a very large and loyal base. It would never come to that.

We're sick - it's time we fluffed our pillows and let the competition that we looked after, look after us for a little bit - luckily it's not terminal.

The only games AFL are promoting as reserved seat blockbusters are the 6 games involving Collingwod, Essendon* & CARLTON! (Not Richmond or St Kilda). Without us they'd lose those blockbuster games.

I wouldnt be getting to comfy..the AFL are still looking to include more interstate teams down the track and we are not a brand name club anymore. The interstate clubs along with Essendon* and Collingwood maybe are the only clubs who I would say are 100%secure...

Agro's mate AndyD wouldnt be crying in his beer if it was Carlton who had to make way for a interstate club....only Freo to go and we have all the interstate teams with a premeirship, wonder how the AFL can speed that process along...its about the national comp, TV rights and the AFL getting more assets if you read AndyD's words carefully...he is about building the empire not protecting Vic clubs..lets not kid ourselves we are right with all the other banana republic clubs battling to keep their heads above water and the old carlton Brand name means nothing..its look after yourself, relocate or perish IMHO and I wouldnt be trusting the AFL as far as I could throw them...they burnt us with those penalties and enjoyed it.....remember that...
