i happy about the draft and trade haul and think TDK is the only one who we can’t cover for, though who knows what Reidy’s upper limit is and how soon he can match it against the monster ruckman like Gawn etc in the AFL.

I’ve never been a Pitto fan but he did surprise me in 2025 being less rubbish than i thought he was. If a TDK like jumping and agile ruckman comes up in the draft in the next few years we should be taking a serious look at him IMHO. Ruck position is so important even in the fast paced modern game. Brisbane played finals with two, non-super start but very competent rucks. Brisbane are the benchmark of AFL and have been for the last few years.


Disappointing that when we finally discovered JSOS is a back man (shouldn’t have been a surprise!) and the backman who gets forward craft and how they like the ball coming in he ups and leaves but whatever, he’s no Harry Dean so, whatever will be will be.

The Charlie trade is now the least of my concerns. his finals form was unproven and this years form was pretty average. so hopefully the game plan for transition footy becomes less predictable bc he is gone. he lost a lot of contests and the ball went over e boundary or out wide where he was leading when he didn’t mark. be fascinating to see what he brings to the Swans. if they don’t finish top four in 2026 i reckon they will have some very pissed off fans.

Great that we have points for Cody in 2026. i Austin and the list management have taken lemonades and made lemonade this year and last year was very decent drafting the yet to be unveiled Jagga. can’t complain overall.

it’s up to the Club to turn the player group whinging and sooking around, hopefully seeeing Charles and JSOS out the door will lift club morale.

It's got the bone vibrator annoyed over on Bigfooty which is a win to me. Interesting draft though - fascinating potential for keogh to pick the eyes out of it in 2028.
