I wanna see Moo hurt someone (but not too badly).

Anything more than that is a bonus.

Has Byrne played even 3/4 of a game yet?

He doesn't really need to if you view how the other clubs are using the 5th bench player.

I thought Thursday night could have been the perfect intro, but not to worry - he'll be in the team soon enough.

Carroll and Cowan in, that's good.
As for swapping a tall (190cm+) for a tall (we have 9), they also have 3 talls in their defence, 3 in their forward 50, 2 on the bench and a ruck, so maybe that makes sense on paper.
I really hope we are better equiped for the spread this game, they have some good speed in the middle and Sam Grlj will be a jet coming out of defence for his first game.

It feels like De Ja Vu all over again from last year!

Voss refusing to play the Kids- ( Dereksen & Byrne should have been given a go). Voss is abviously fighting for his Career.

Wouldn't be surprised if Richmond's kids give us a run for our money.

Reidy- one game- oh nooo he is rubbish- failed experiment. We are screwed. Wait until Pitto breaks down! ( I wonder if we will ever see him again)!

If anyone is interested, our emergencies are Byrne, Boyd and Moir.

Good ins. Fair outs.

Think some of you are in too much of a rush to get the kids in. Let them build in the 2s, the way successful clubs do it.

It's more that we want consequences for poor performance. Fogarty does not deserve a game and then you could argue McGovern, L Young and others don't either. I'd rather move around the deck chairs until something works than have the same players do the same thing expecting a different result.

I don't entirely disagree. But I also understand that they don't want to replace the whole team at once either.

Plus, Byrne apparently isn't fit enough to run out a game yet. So I'm assuming that's a factor.

I reckon Derka will get his chance next, maybe as early as next week, if Young or McGovern are really bad against the Tigers.

So just to confirm, we're bringing in 2 x 21years olds and a 20 year old. To replace an underperforming 20 year old, a 25 year old and an injured 31 year old. And Voss is refusing to play the kids? And as an example, you complain he's not bringing in a 25 year old? :?

We have 13 players with less than 100 games in the team. I understand you're frustrated but let's not fabricate scenarios to whinge about. I'd like to see Byrne get a run but I can't accuse Voss of ignoring the kids.

You may want a punitive selection policy. I want the team that will give us the best chance of winning each game. If an 18yo kid had performed as Gov did (see stats provided by Sidefx) you'd be gushing, but because you have a grudge against Gov you want him dropped for "consequential" reasons. Fortunately the club does not run this way. And as BV points out, we're bringing in 3 babies already this week, we don't need more.

The club is going nowhere playing
Lewis Young Zac Williams McGovern and Fogarty
Isn’t the past 2 years enough evidence for ya
And Derkson isn’t a kid
We have had some pretty average footballers represent the club over the last 25 years and Lewis Young is right up there with the best of them
Nothing against him as a bloke and footballer
If the club is stupid enough to give him 4 year deal ( on chicken feed but still around one mill) when there is country footballers who are better good luck to him
Ainsworth 4 years
Haywood Florent 5 years
Walsh 8 years on 10 million
A past player who is in the media now saying the obvious and being banned from a club function because the club don’t know how to be current in the modern age
A CEO who tries to get a rival coach to a club before a coaches contract is up
An outdated game style
