I didn't think Cowan & more particularly Hayward had great games but Voss has shown a reluctance to make big changes in the past.

It's tough to decide who to drop, as they were all pretty good for a half... and then not so much for a half.

Except Kemp. Kemp was awful. And as much as I want him to make it, I just don't see how we can play him this week.

We need Mass changes.... I have had enough of this BS of players being underdone, not fit, not ready, bla bla bla

Newman, Cerra, Lord, Saad, Acres, Haynes, Cottrell all have to Come in...

That's bloody 6 Senior players apart from Lord... Your telling me they won't make a difference?

Except we couldn't beat a stand alone VFL team last week despite having a whole bunch of senior AFL players...

6 of the past 10 VFL grand finalists have been standalone teams. Williamstown seem to be very underestimated by a few. They'll beat a lot of AFL reserves teams this year. We had a number of players on limited minutes and others playing different roles to suit their development and not necessarily the advantage of the team. I wouldn't be losing any sleep over the outcome of that game. More the performance of a few individuals.

I agree. Maybe give Derkson a chance instead of Kemp. Voss doesn't make too many changes. I'm sure that he'd like to bring back Fogarty if he could.

One thing for me…no Kemp.
Send him a message.
193cm and you want the incoming ball kicked on your head whilst a taller opponent is on your statue’s shoulder.

Any news on Williams Cowan and Dean?

Cowan can go back to the reserves too.
Needs to be fitter to play with big boys.

Voss doesn’t like many changes and neither does his team.
Team Selection night is a bit of a laugh, knowing even with a full list Vossy will continue to back his followers.
Followers? Haha…none play with the vigour courage and determination Vossy did as a player. They aren’t following.

It’s time to stand up for 4 fkn quarters you weak Prix.

A multi-year journey will add another happy chapter on Good Friday, with Wade Derksen confirmed to make his AFL debut in Round 4.

Does Derksen replace Dean?
Does he come in to replace Young - who then goes forward to replace HoK or Kemp?
Cerra is playing - who is he pushing out?
Is Newman ready to come back?
Does Boyd graduate from the next player in line?

Many questions...

I'd go with:

Newman - Weitering - Boyd
Florent - Derksen - Cowan
Williams - Cerra - Carroll
Evans - McKay - Ainsworth
Byrne - McGovern - Hayward

Pittonet - Smith - Walsh

L. Young - Cripps - F. Young - E. Hollands - Wilson

That's six changes. I like it. I don't think Voss can count that high though. He usually stops at two.

So you've gone:
Out: Dean, Kemp, HOK, Hewitt, O Hollands, Chesser
In: Newman, Boyd, Derkson, Cerra, F Young, Wilson

It's time we look beyond Cripps for the midfield. He doesn't cut it anymore. We need to give others a go.

To my thinking he's got to find a way to play as a tall forward or secondary (not centre bounce) ruck.

back up ruck is where it is for him. then he's not expected to run nd chase and defend like a mid, but just be responsible for the other ruck

with cerra around the ball, walsh, smith and a bit of hewett*, that's as good as we can get.

*hewett has been pitiful, and would have been my first dropped. 37 metres gained for a mid last round is really not acceptable. we're almost better playing a man down if we don't have a replacement.

bring in campo or a pot plant or a bag of recycled clothing to replace george.

Yep. With Cerra back, Hewett should have been dropped.

So guessing:
Out: Dean (inj), HOK
In: Derkson, Cerra

I would keep Hewett in. We were down a mid when Lord went out
