Last week I didn't read a newspaper, listen to the radio, watch television or go on social media.
Today I watched the footy.
This week I won't read a newspaper, listen to the rado, watch television or go on social media.
Next Thursday I'll watch the footy.

The good news is we played three decent quarters instead of two just to fill you in on what's happened Vinny .

I love your positivity.

I firmly believed we’d be in a better position than 1-3 after the 1st month.
I was positive we would now sink, starting with next weeks game.
Seems I was wrong.

This group has lost the passion and belief and I feel losing their mates has mentally scared them.
We are done and can only hope we finish above 18th, as that will be the final nail.

I would suggest we bunker down as a club.

Do every presser were obliged to do.

And only say this...

'nothing changes until we play 4 quarters'

Another question comes in...

'nothing changes until we play 4 quarters'

It needs to become a mantra publicly. No reasons, no excuses, no 'we're hurting'. Just a rock solid steely ambition to not say anything until we play 4 quarters.

Like kids, one simple instruction is better than a list. Write it everywhere. 4 quarters. 4 quarters. 4 fu&#king quarters.

I want it to be all the players think about. Can't change their kicking ability in a week.

Just play 4 quarters.

listen to Walsh interview after the game on ABC (i think it was with Reiwalt). he showed some spine and don’t argue, admittedly more than he’s shown on field so far this season. he said exactly that and didn’t fall for any of the gotcha questions. was a real f-you performance which i liked for once.

We really need to trade Cripps for Butters at the end of this season.

Not sure if we should keep Hewett or trade him for someone faster too.

Why on Earth would Port even vaguely contemplate that?

Cripps to Eagles, couple of high draft picks to Port, Butters to us. Or some variation thereof

i doubt even the Bulldogs would give us Kennedy back for Cripps at this point in his illustrious career. they don’t need anyone to make it a fun place to come to work, thanks but no thanks.

I thought we'd struggle early on then improve.

I got the first bit right but I'm not so sure about the second given the fixture the next 6-8 weeks.

I feel they played with passion.
And a higher level of belief than last week...but not high enough.
Impact of 5 day break?
But next month feels horrendous.

Once the team adjusts to the new game plan and sticks to it for four quarters we will be fine

What’s with the big prayer huddle before they run out?

You just know they’re looking for intervention. They certainly play like it.

Stagnant, listless flowers.
