Couple this with the missed targets going inside 50.

Supporters like you have dementia, you can’t remember what point you’re trying to make from one post to the next, so you just tell everyone that they’re idiots, no matter what they post. If they post stuff that supports your previous post you just claim the opposite, or wilfully misunderstand or misrepresent what they say.

I don’t blame you if the club has driven you mad.

Fair call.

Bad kicking is bad football
Bad kicking is suicidal, hence “shooting ourselves in the foot”

I think the Game Plan has driven us and players mad. Once players start missing, the rest of the team goes missing.

Symptoms of missing goal opportunities. I get it.

Say what you like about him, he still bleeds blue.

I find it untraditional, let alone impossible to applaud players who have left us.

Saddened me to hear from both of our ex players for first time.

Classy response.

It’s a must watch. Don’t take my word for it but it was along the lines, he doesn’t really know how to feel. It’s good that they won but it’s a strange feeling, that he couldn’t explain. Also, the way he said it was very sincere.

I bet it was

does anyone here needs more convincing about Reidy?

Does this guy look like an AFL Standard? he looked so small standing next to Marshall & TDK. He got butchered yet again!

As for Pitto, his lack of coverage around the ground killed us.

How do Two ruckmen kick 5 or 6 goals between us in a Game?

We seriousely need to recruit 2 Ruckmen next year. Get an established one and throw millions at him and try your luck in the draft or find half a decent one from somewhere...

Pitto/Reidy have taken us no where!
It's easy to see what happened from the stats or moreso from the TOG.

Marshall was on the ground for 74% of the game.
TDK was on the ground for 73% of the game.
So they were on the ground together for 47% of the game.

Pitto was on the ground for 54% of the game.
Reidy was on the ground for 50% of the game.
So they were on the ground together for 4% of the game.

So there was an imbalance in the number of ruckman on the ground. St Kilda had both of their ruckman on the ground for 43% of the game when we only had one of our ruckman on the ground.

No wonder their ruckman kicked 5 goals between them. Sure one of our backmen would have picked them up. However, Marshall is 202cm and TDK is 201cm. Weitering is 195cm and Dean is 193cm. There was no Lewis Young.

We're outsized you say. Don't worry we'll use Frankie Evans who is 182cm. You wondered how that happened didn't you? The TOG tells the story.

If we're going to have two ruckmen then they need to do more than warm the bench when they're not in the ruck.

All of that is planning and coaching.

This shows us how two rucks work.

Carlton didn’t have 2 rucks who could play forward. Now we don’t have any. Pitto scored his goals from ruck, not as a forward.

Sounds like you wouldn’t mind the Saints 2 rucks.

Cats shot themselves in the foot not footing the bill for Marshall. They are another team who has lost flags for lacking a bonafide No 1 ruckman.

Ruckmen are very important pieces of the puzzle. See how Swans changed when they got Grundy. Ask midfielders. Ask no 1 KPF how they feel when a ruckman with forward craft (able to mark or spoil) comes forward.

We must find a No 1 ruckman. A bonafide ruckman

I’m sure you aren’t feeling as bad as Cranium Doc.
Cranium expected better than what he is witnessing.

You expected the results we are witnessing thus far in 26.
Can see it clearly now at round 8: a bottom 4 finish.
You were serious. Good footy eye.

I feel your pain, we all do.
I usually stay to the end but I left about 10 mins into the last quarter and joined a huge crowd of Carlton supporters on Southern Cross station.
This seems to be the lowest point I can remember the club being in. Even worse than 2002. It is hard to see how we recover from this. Player retention has hurt us in recent years and I fear it will happen again at seasons end. With the Tassie team coming in another compromised draft coming up how do we improve?
I am glad this week is in Brisbane so I don't feel like I have to go.
What a depressing time to be a Carlton supporter.
