Just talking to a carlton mad mate in Melbourne about our ruck situation after comparing our 2 rucks vs Sainst 2 rucks.

If Austin picks the Best ruck in the WAFL and the best ruck in SAFL, they will be better for us in 2027 than Pitto and reidy.

Its a must.

There will be up to 10 spots to fill come years end

2 Draftees Walker plus (hopefully) another 1st rounder (2026 rnd 1 x 2)
1 Promote Charleson (2026 Rnd 5)
2 Rucks (SAFL/WAFL/VFL) (2026 Rnd 3) (2026 Rnd 4)
1 FA (Best we can get KPF)
1 Trade mid (Humphries) (Ist 2027 2 x 2nd 2026)
1 Trade mid (A grader) (1st 2027 2nd 2027)
1 Best available mid (2026 Rnd 3rd)
1 Rookie

Leaves us next year to play with
2027 Rnd 3 & 4 & 5
2028 Rnd 1, 2, 3, 4

I feel we can get this Best 23 humming in 2027 after another preseason and a smart coach if we get our picks right.

Fkn hell Round 9 and I'm looking at list changes, and looking at targets.

Pitto has a contract until 2027 and Reidy until 2028.

That is correct. That's the good thing.

We were going to spend 1.1M to keep TDK.
We have lots of salary cap space.
We have at least 10 changes to fill after delistings.

Reidy costs us 3-350K and Pitto 400K.
We can keep them on the list or pay one out (no need to do that)
We have to do the right thing by the midfielders and give them a good chop ouut ruck and a ruck for the second halves next year.

Its time to at least find our No 1 ruck and worry about the chop out in 2027 or from Harry or HOK. Tassie compromised draft next year.

We all been Searching for Answers as to why we continue to fade out in the second halves of games & how we ended up with a miserable 1-7,

Well I think we finally have a definite Answer, thanks to some close up Vision of all our Players, step by step as the fade out began last week. I am not sure who did the actual vision, either Chanel 9 or Loyd in one of his TV Segments.

The Vision was appalling. It showed that the Players can barely run. They are cooked. Out of Petrol.

It was all due to Work rate & Fitness. The Game Style that Voss has got them to play is so taxing and so un-realistic that by half time, most of the players are out on their feet. This is not giving an excuse to those players. What the heck were they doing all pre-season?

How can our new recruits say on Social Media that they were so impressed with Carlton's running ability and fitness when they walked into the club?

No Wonder the opposition can score so easily against us.

No Point in Sacking Voss but keeping Austin. Both have to GO. They have done so much damage to our club, they should have been sacked already!

And what did Lloyd et al have to say about the Freo and Collingwood games that we did run out?

More likely we stuffed our running capacity by selecting Pitto and Reidy, and also boosting KPF numbers with H while dropping Lord.

So let's go small again next week and improve run/transition while getting murdered at centre not-bounces :D

When was the last time we drafted a real prick? We need to stop drafting so many nice boys and draft a bunch of cauliflower. I hope Dean keeps playing the way he does, at least he cares.

Like Mitch Robinson? We traded him.

We didn't want to pay out Vossy and we've wasted a year.

Exactly, we did trade a few but kicked them out because only wanted nice boys, however I meant in the last ten years.

I assumed Elijah was just the modern toxin of substance related issues, if the club knew he went off on an anxiety episode (that apparently endangered him) or whatever in a game against the Swans last year, why the F did we re-list him? Did we think here's a lad ready for a pressure cooker Grand Final at a big club not hiding at a tin pot Rugby state franchise, because we have his turnover merchant brother on the list?

Yep, why didn’t we learn from the bulldogs mistake with Tom Boyd? Oh wait….

I don't think there's been any since Mitch. He wasn't bad at all, but just had that nice tinge of aggression. I just looked it up. We actually delisted Mitch and then Brisbane picked him up as a delisted free agent.

Liam Stocker had a bit too. We delisted him as well to allow another club to take him for nothing.

  The arrogance to think that they could replicate the Boyd result.
