Danny he has all the major attributes to be a dominant onballer.
In 4 games in the VFL as an 18 yr old he averaged 21 poss and 5 marks, playing alot on ball.
He is quick, powerful and plays with real intensity. He has an inbuilt desire to hunt and win his own ball. His kicking needs some work, but it isn't bad. He is driven and a self starter. If I was a betting man, I would say he shows every athletic and character trait to suggest he will be a quality AFL player.
Dangerfield has been one of the worst field kicks going around, but he makes up for it elsewhere.

Agree. he is special. Very special. Hence valued between pick 1 and 3.
But I am constantly battling the same conundrum as dannyboy.
There has to be a limit. What is the limit?
With our current trajectory, we can make the 10.
We can also win a Final at the MCG vs WB, or Melb. End up 8th, Pick 11 but that gets pushed out by Cochrane, plus Butters too (pick 13)
Sydney could win the flag, or runner up. That gives us Pick 17 and that gets pushed to pick 21 (Pick 22) with all the expected Compos.
That's not enough. Do we sell our 2 2027 Firsts from the compromised Draft? 4 Firsts doesn't sound right.
If you look at Crusader's last post, there is more than one way to skin this cat. A lot of moving parts. I think we will do well, and should Trade out our 2 2027 Firsts to get value in 2026 and 2028.
Dean is worth the 2 Firsts we paid, Smith is worth the 2 Firsts we paid...I know Sydney Blue would prefer 4 players instead, but imo they were worth it. Then, with the harsher Draft rules, and last uncompromised Draft, Walker imo is worth 2 2026 Firsts plus a 20026 2nd or 2027 First (which is pick in the late 20's)
