Lance Whitnall, Nick Stevens, Marc Murphy, Jarrad Waite, Luke Blackwell, Adam Hartlett and Andrew Walker decided to come into the Club to sign autographs and chat with any supporters who had not heard the Family Day had been cancelled.

That is pleasing to read.

Who are you to question Kouta. Easy to take a cheap shot with out knowing the facts. There was seven Carlton names mentioned out of 42 but you made a point of mentioning Kouta. Yes he is Captain, but as i said before who are you to question Kouta???????????

he's a supporter and paid up member of the Carlton Football Club.

it think he's within his rights to ponder as to where the great man may have been.

like you say, he is the Captain

yeah thats right and thats why i think Budzy is entitled to an OPINION.

where did he claim to be an expert?

the fact that it was cancelled at short notice gives even more weight to the fact that kouta probably didn't have anything else on, and as the captain of the club you'd hope he'd show the inititive that these other yonger blokes had.

but who knows maybe maybe he had a good reason for not being there?
still nothing worng in simply posing the question.

good on the lads for getting down there i think thats great.

I thought I'd read this morning that Kouta was there.... When I double checked the article, I was terribly surprised....
I don't think it is wrong to question why the captain didn't think of the same things as those players....

And if the club organised it, I would have thought there was a pretty special reason for them to accept Kouta not being there......

What pissed me off more then the question is we have someone trying to create a positive post, which i think is great.

Then someone ("budzy") tries to put there two cents in and find a negative.
It is easy to to find something bad you can simply go to hundreds of other threads on this site.
This was clearly a positive thread and I hate when people want to turn it around the other way.

Again i say congradulations to Lance Whitnall, Nick Stevens, Marc Murphy, Jarrad Waite, Luke Blackwell, Adam Hartlett and Andrew Walker.

While drinking my half full glass of water :) :)

Might it be possible that he spent all week preparing, Saturday at the game and then as the cncellation freed up some time he maybe watned to spend time with his wife and young family, someting he might not have had a chance to do since Christmas??? The guys who went are all younger, might not have the same family commitments. Just a thought.
