Reported in Herald Sun today that Pagan used to read the posts on the unofficial Carlton website which I assume is us,but now avoids the critics and has webbed out so to speak.Obviously read too much Synbad for his own liking.Does bring up the interesting topic on whether our players or staff read any of this stuff.

Not all of it is shit and it would be in DP's interest to get back on line as there are some worthwhile thoughts published.

Should have went into TalkingStuff.

Warren knows what's going on 8)

Don't blame him for buggering off if he ever read here though. Very negative most of the time (Not that that's unexpected, either...)

It goes a little something like this.....
The Sun says-
Quote:
Yet if you talk to Carlton supporters at training, or peruse the club's unofficial website, you would be forgiven for thinking the Blues were already 0-11 in the home-and-away season.

Yes .... there are a number of prophets of Doom & Gloom in our midst!!

All the negative crap does very little for building up membership and finacial support.

Things will get better, the system has been designed that way. How much better will eventually depend how well we are managed. No-one can remain on top of the heap anymore; or the bottom!! We've just delayed our climb bak up the ladder :(

The Saints haven't got such a fantastic list through hard work!! It's called the system!! We just had to learn it the hard way!!

Anyway girls & boys, I'm off to watch the Bluies play Port. :-D

It's a vibe coach Denis Pagan says he and his players try to avoid.

"You don't listen to them, just keep away from negative people," he said after training this week. "They will swallow you in their own pit of gloom.

"You focus on things you have control over.

"I think it's an Australian trait. A lot of people find excitement and glee in being negative."

Pagan was always an avid reader and listener of what had been written and said about him and his team.

If he didn't like it, he would make it clear. But this year Pagan, at least for now, says he will take a more relaxed approach to criticism.

Perhaps he's just sick of people spelling his name with an extra "n", I know I am.

Yeah, cos Synbad is always negative about the team with no substance.... :garthp:

Get @#$%&! real.

At least Synbad can back it up with actual facts, rather than ridiculous rubbish about the players, the coach, etc.

And yes, if you think I'm talking about you, then I probably am.

Denis should have come over to TalkingStuff. Much more interesting discussions there. Although, he'd probably spend so much time in there, that he wouldn't have time to coach.

AND IT'S DENIS.

D E N I S

How @#$%&! hard is it?

I reckon Denis would be a fantastic Warrenite.

Perhaps we should have a "Denis Thread....the Positive thread"?

Then when he's down; he can spark himself up in his own thread?

I wasn't being negative......I thought people who like Denis....are happy with Denis; could post in the "Denis" thread...and why not?

I like Denis....that's a start.

The communications department do peruse all the Carlton forums, but not much more than reading the thread titles though, nothing too in depth I think.

Is that your impression Molsey, d-boy?

How could they possibly hope to gain an insight into Warren from just his name?

Haha, the article doesn't actually state that Denis reads the forums. ;)

But just in case he does … we need to get better Denis. Soon please. Best thing he can do is get us on a roll and win a few early games so that the T word doesn't get much of a run.
