A lot of people are going crazy at today's result but call me an optomist or that im looking through 'rose-coloured glasses' but i'm not in panic mode just yet...I think once the regular season comes around we won't be any where near as bad...

i agree before writing us off gives us atleast 4 games into the season before that can occur.

Also Port have copped in the media this week in Adelaide everyone has wrote them off so they came to play. Ian Coutts said that the game was broadcasted into adelaide on radio through 5AA so thoughts how important it was for them

Well Dennis who is telling the boys to mess around with the ball? it is either they are not listening to your game plan or it is your game plan?

Fancy stating "It's amazing how it all unfolded, we won that much of the game in the first quarter - more than the opposition - and really sort of fiddled with it." what a joke, we were never in the contest from the first 30 secs when Port strolled in for an easy goal.

IMO Dennis is starting to coach for his job, blowouts like today generally occur when the kids are struggling on form and confidence, but from what i witnessed today it was the kids who shone and were our best players in limited game time.

Melbourne are a good side and will be a very tough first up bout.

There's no doubt there verbs.
Melbourne have had a member of their coaching staff to at least 6 of our training sessions in the past month, including the intra club.

They wont be leaving anything to chance.

Melbourne's gameplan against us is to have one of either Robertson or Green go beserk and beat us by themself. Dunno why they needs spies.

Melbourne are a strong unit and my tip to take out the NAB Cup.
If we don't get our act together in the next 3 weeks, they will steam roll us.

Don't worry Denis has it all under control & was at their game last night.

If they saw today's game they'd think they've already got it in the bag!

Not good logging in after a day playing cricket and seeing this. If Ian Coutts said that it was an important game for Port Adelaide then why wasn't it an important game for us?

The Bottom line is win lose or draw we all expect and demand a more competitive result no matter what game is being played.

Honestly can everyone please please just stop being so one eyed and say it how it is.

From what i saw yesterday at Princes Park, i saw a team that has no issues finding and getting the footy, what we lack is blokes that can hit a target and also blokes that give their men too much room.

Seriously after yesterday im honestly considering not renewing my membership. Im seriously that disappointed. I didnt go to the game expecting to win, but what i expected was to see a team do the basic things right. And low and behold we put up garbage like that.... the amount of times Port players were on their own was a joke, and if we could hit blokes up standing on their own 20 mtrs in the clear we would have kicked about 7-8 more goals.

Im just saying it as i saw it and how i feel mate.... if you are honestly happy with what the Blues put up yesterday then good on you. But what i saw yesterday a local team could put up. It hurts me more so much to see Port bash us at our old home ground. ONLY a practice match nothing, i dont care when it is you dont get smashed by 99pts.... 30-40 heck even 50 pts... but 99 thats pathetic.

Sorry this is how i feel and i dont think its acceptable

Given how we went last season after the Wizard Cup, you'd think the only thing Denis would care about right now is that nobody got injured. Perhaps that's why we were 20 metres off our men.

Seriously, wait till the real stuff starts. If we're still crap after 6 weeks of that, then stick the boots in.
