Hopefully O'Hailpin can come in from the calf strain to replace Fish.Dead stiff Fisher deserves a change of luck.

You could have waited until later in the week before posting criticism of a player's performance or querying there spot in the team.

You could've posted earlier in the week instead of missing numerous threads and just not getting people's posts.

I have posted throughout the week - guess I must have missed some where I was required - you are more than welcome to PM me on which specific threads that I should post in in the future - otherwise feel free to show some maturity and give it a rest.

Why isn't keogh replying to you given you were telling him what he could've done?

This was one week where maybe this thread just shouldn't have been started.

Come on boys lighten up where in the flower eight and sent all those Melbourne pricks to the autumn ski fields early.

Not everyone can play well in a winning side.

Lets look at it later in the week I agree take everything back.Lets just focus on the positives baby.

The only negative beside's watey's goal kicking was that the club I was at didn't have a sports bet terminal, and the only betting code they could give me was head to head ($3.45) even though I knew less than 40 was paying about a dollar more.

It's a discussion board, not a psychiatry session!

Great phrase by the way - I gather it has a specific origin ? Or is it just the latest phrase up in Queensland?

No. It's a Mrs Cazism.

The only negative I can think of, if you can call it a negative is that guys like Prendergast, Teague, Wiggins, Bannister etc etc may be in a bit of trouble in regards to getting a spot in the team.

Time will tell I suppose.

I can't see that as a negative, PJ. Think of the list in a years time, with another preseason under the young guys belts, and another 4 or 5 youngsters on the list. We might start to resemble a decent list...

Not a negative for the team, but a negative for the blokes mentioned.
A majority of the blokes who played tonight are going to be in the side for most of the year.
Guys like DeLuca, Sporn, Livo, Murph (at stages) are going to be in and out of the side.
If the guys who played tonight can keep up a reasonable level of consistency, then the blokes I mentioned before are going to find it hard to get a game in the 1s.

I think murphy will play most weeks... maybe just a rest for the end of the season but we'll see...

Heard Pagan interviewed pre-match re Teague. He said he was close to getting a game but it was a good sign that there is now pressure to get into the team when in the past there was little competition.

I think we should handle him with care and when he looks like everything is becoming a bit overwhelming, send him to the 2s for a few weeks to re-energise.

It's his first year. No need to burn him out just yet.

Interesting.
So Fisher doesn't come up next week and have to bring someone in.
Turns out it's Teague. Who does he play on?

Guess it's going to be a week to week thing with Teaguey.

The crowd was small. Only 30,000! Hopefully more Carlton fans turn up for our home games.

I have read this thread for 3 pages and not seen any of you say #1 Negative...................... DELUCA...... he is an absoloute liability... he runs to far under the ball so reaches back to mark.. when it is infront of him he either gets bumped off or it hits his chest and bounces away... worst mark for a big man in the comp... shocking shocking shocking.... deserves to be a bullant 4 life... rather play Setanta... he couldnt be any worse and can at least get experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
