You mean Dale" The messiah" Thomas didnt win it.?.....
Well done to Marc Murphy and look forward to him receiving the major award at the end of the year......
I was impressed with Birchall from Hawthorn as well....like Murphy seems very composed....

Well done Murph, Dale Thomas is a good kid aswell, but looking at both of them, they are both small but murphy is way more bulky for his age.

Murph had more impact on the game than Thomas did, Thomas will be exciting too though.

Well done Murphy, you star.

The club's eighth nomination since the start of 2003, which is not a bad effort considering our poor performances in that time (admittedly one nomination was a certain Karl Norman, while Trent Sporn was another)

Also, the Blues had the equal highest number of nominations between 2003 and 2005, along with Brisbane and WCE. Then again, Adelaide has only had one and look how well they are going....

Congrats Murph, a well deserved nomination.

He stepped up to the plate when the game was really up for grabs. I'm glad I was there to witness it.

But they have very few good young players that would have been eligible throughout that time, their strength doesn't come from their youth

What is that advice by the way? Looks like you're giving him something else there. :P

Is he still eligible to get another NRS nomination?

Congratulations to Marc Murphy.

But I take the NRS nominations with a grain of salt - if its a line ball between 2 players they will always pick the higher draft choice.

It makes the National Draft Pathway and Kevin Sheahan look better.
