It's only 1 game, but he got a tick from me,He will never be a star, but with no injury and luck can be valuable for years if he plays ok and sticks with his opponent even if he has bugger stats,as long he accounts for his man.

Do you think Scarlett would JUST account for his man?.

so for Livo to improve he must be as good as Scarlett?

Why not SOS?

Or Southby?

Livo improved as the game went on because he began to believe.

If his confidence continues to grow he will continue to improve. Not stating he will be a Scarlett merely highlighting that to say he will never improve is a big call on a player that can improve in so many areas - for example last night Livo did not make one clanger with his decision making - a clear improvement.

unfair comparison.

scarlett is a super star of the game, the best defender in the game.

period.

livingston, at best will be a solid defender, nothing more and nothing more should be asked of him.

to compare livingston and scarlett is to compare carazzo to judd

Yeah, it was one of the first times I've seen him not look like a deer in the headlights.

I'm lighting another candle for Livo - this could be the year he justifies our love.

Danny, you're still a knob.

I'm not saying that he has to improve to be a Scarlett. That's not possible.
What i was saying was that i do not accept having a limited player when we can have someone like Scarlett, who is very creative, and mobile.

I don't like the idea of being limited.

How can "we have someone like Scarlett, who is very creative and mobile"?....I don't understand that statement.

You can't just walk into a 7/11 and ask for a Scarlett can you?

Oh....I'll have a Judd and a Riewoldt and a Hird while I'm here....

I think what he's saying is that as soon as the opportunity arises for Livo to be replaced by someone better, regardless how well he is travelling - we need to move him on. And that's fair enough, Livo will have a role somewhere in the AFL if he keeps himself up.

I'm sure Melbourne could use him instead of Nicholson. :P

jimmae....of course I understood him; it's oh so obvious that every team will replace players with better players if they appear.....trouble is.....they don't often appear.

In the last 30 plus years we've had Southby and a Father Son; Silvagni......a long time between drinks.
