Just on 10 news, Karl wants AFL players named for drugs, recons it did him the world of good, gave him a kick in the bum and has got his life on track,
Now he wants to focus on his football and wants to make an AFL comeback come 2007?

Would anyone take him ?

Heh. I don't think it was ever quite that bad for him.

He'd be rookied at best. Long way to go for Karl.

Other clubs would need to mull over this ...

Karl's got talent, but in keeping with our recent policy of drafting players with "good character", i'd pass. All the best to him though...

So would I, a hard working Karl would be unbelievable, he needs to get into the gym now though. Watch his diet NOW.

Can't rock up to a club and hope to train from scratch at his age. Needs to be proactive as of now.

Ideal for a re-hash.

Perhaps Karl could lure us a joint sponsor?

Lame BV.

A reborn Karl on the rookie list would be an absolute gift.

I would give him a second chance with conditions, and if any of these conditions were broken he would be out the gate super quick..

Now for all those worried about what harm it might do to the club publically just think that if it does come off and he becomes a regular player for us what a feel good story it would be....

Saying that I do not like his chances though

What he did is neither a crime in this country nor was a true breach of the drugs code (ie. not performance enhancing).

Add to that a startling number of people in his age group have done the same thing and you have a kid being very harshly judged. If his work ethic improves and we get conditions down like regular drug testing on him, he could be a very good get - we all know what he brings to the club.

And if it's really that bad, this time we keep our mouths shut, make him look good and get some value in a trade.

Let's go where the grass is greener - the U/18 kids, particularly with this year's talent being touted by various people as particularly pure.

We need an injection of speed in the midfield. I think we're right for hight [sic].

Our last pick in the rookie draft? Only if he's right. It's just an idea at the moment, let's see what Karl is prepared to do for another chance.

Karl had enough chances (note the plural) with us.

Let someone else deal with him this time.

Not a hint of maternal instincts there. :P
