hope the masters right...... Fev at his best is so exciting to watch.

if we finish last this year and win less than 5 and half games do we still get a priority pick in round one or due to the new rules every team starts with a clean slate????

I think the new rules are based over a three year period and because we won 10 games in 2004 it makes it nearly impossible for us to get a first round PP this year, but if we lost less than 5 games then we would get one at the end of the first round...Someone correct me if i am wrong   (i'm not really 100% sure)

I remeber that! Good to see we've all dropped that idea!....I think ther's been a combination of the way players go and the coaches oach

The suggestion is that Fev is more settled in his life away from footy than he ever has been.

Newly married with the young daughter plus one on the way can have that effect. Expect to see less of him on the footyshow in 2006. He is also making plans now for life after footy so he has alot to keep his mind occupied away from footy.

Expect a very consistant year from him by all reports.

Regards Cazzesman

There is no doubt that this will be Fevs most exciting year, and the best part is it's just the beggining with Fevs.

It has always been about self confidence with Fevs, or the lack of it.

I always knew that Fevs would be a late developer due to his carachter. I was just hoping that we would be patiant enough. Fortunetly for him (and us in the end) we were in no position to get picky with what we had.

I always believed that it was just a matter of Fevs believing he could what he did as a junior in the big league. That's take teams apart off his own boot.

Like in the under 15's when by RD 7 or 8 (till he broke his arm) he had already ammased around 80 goals for the year. In one of those games he kicked 25 goals 10 behinds and had 17 handballs (he got told off the week before for not giving being team orientated enough, he managed 19 goals that day i think).

That time has come, and one look at Fevs tells you that he believes he belongs.

He would be a little excited after the Melbourne game, seeing what Murph can do with the footy

So sit back, relax and enjoy the Fevs show. :P

It really angers me how so many people can just bag the shit out of the guy and use all the reasoning in the world as to why he is such a dillbrain and how everything about him is bad and that we should offload the bugger. But when he fires they celebrate it just as much as the loyal subjects who stick by him...It's bloody crap if you ask me.

I don't understand how you could have so much anger for someone who is wearing our colours.

I had a bit of a discussion with someone about him last year, this someone was so insistent and so hellbent that Fev was a complete waste of money that he almost made me feel that I had no clue about anything and that I should just lay down and agree with him. I never did cos I love Fev and I like the idea of keeping our characters who have that something special.

I know It's only round one, but crikey I have never seen him apply so much pressure and work as hard as he did on sunday...that's gotta be a good sign.

Go Fev!

How else would you kick around 80 goals in about 7 RD's of footy?
Blood oath I'm serious.

I know what you mean. I had to force myself to not take everyones insults about our players to heart, I always feel like defending them against the barrage of abuse that gets thrown at them. I have learnt now that these people who insult and bag the crap out of our players are 'objective' thinkers who have far superior thought processes than mine and they have taught me that I should not get emotionally involved with my club and it's players for fear of looking like a fool.......

Fev is apotential 100+ goal kicker. All he needs is some decent delivery down there and a few off-siders to remove the double team element and he'll be hard to stop.

Hopefully Waite and the big Irishman can have a big year.

He played one good game where he chased and harrassed the opposition which should be expected.
Lets wait till further into the season before we carry on about him being a changed man.
Personally, and I hope I'm wrong as we are stuck with him, is that he will again be up to his old ways. This is based on his past. He has dissappointed time and time again so I'm rather cynical when I hear he has turned the corner in his career.

I've been a fan of Fevs since day 1 even till his bitter end with Brittain and i'm glad we've stuck with him...

I agree he was superb on Sunday and i hope he's turned things around for good...

If youre right what you're saying about Fevs cazzesman, thats terrific news!

I hope Pagan and Cazz are right and Fev is ready to fire.

When Fev is firing we look a much more dangerous side.

Fev, Waite, Fish, Carlos and Betts is shaping like the type of forward line that can win us games even when the midfield is down.

They also give current affair shows an audience... there's some real dim-witted people around in this day and age. Too much prosperity and not enough ingenuity. :)
