Agree about the headbands....it aint a good look and in Houlihans case doesnt do a lot for his image...you should only get to wear a headband when you get to Bruce Doull status...

Lappo's made his hair flare out Fabio style

Heard Lappo on SEN Monday morning and they asked him about his 'do. He said he needed the hairband 'coz his hair was so fine and his wife thought it was okay. Also said he could only wash his hair every 3 or 4 days coz if he did more often it just came out in a frizz  :-D

Had to look twice Frank....to see I had the right player 8) ....Bruce Doull would have been happy with that..Bruce being the master of the punch to advantage...crashing the overated and even less physically imposing Travis Johnston was a side benefit.

For the first time in ages, Houlihan through his body in with reckless abandon. His precision skill was on show for all to see and played an very good game.
Even Cammo, who is a huge Houlihan critic, praised his efforts against the Dees.

I think you're the one kidding yourself. Sure it was one of his better games, but I wouldn't say he threw himself in with "reckless abandon", I just don't think that's possible with Houlihan. I saw him suib one contest when the ball was to be won.

Houlihan played an authoritive game on Sunday night. He didn't shirk the tackles he broke running forward off half-back did he?

If you want to give grief to Houlihans performance Wow then you better serve Nick Stevens up with a bake also.

But what would be the point of that?

I guess the only way to really test Houlihan and satisfy most is to play him on the toughest units going around and see the result..maybe then we can finally put Houilhan threads to rest..

Perhaps he could take Josh Carr this week, Mark Riccuito when we play the Crows, Dean Soloman v the Bombers etc etc...a few scalps and the Blouse is no more...its Houla the Hitman instead....

beautiful

someone else that has the same opinion of Houlihan as i do.

he is a squib. period.

i know he has attempted to try and get the hard side into his game, but he just isnt that type of footballer.

combine houlihans skill into the "Chiefs Wiggum's" desire and you would have the best footballer in the country

Unfortunately you could apply that same theory to alot of players on our list. Combine DeLuca's size etc with Fishers's judgement - and we really would have the BEST footballer in the country.

For what it's worth, I thought Houla played his most complete game for us on Sunday night - a season of performances like that and I will be very, very happy

This is just disolving into a bunch of threads dragged along by people who can't let go of stereotypes. Let it go guys, Houla is working on his game and it's nothing to spit on.
