Under Pagan, Nths were generally the lowest marking side in the comp but one of the highest in the forward 50. So you're right when you say the stats don't show your thoughts - your thoughts, however, do not reflect reality. Most posters here and the sports media did discern some slight differnces in the respective game plans. I think Pagan may have mentioned it as well.

** In Pagan's days, Nths were the team with the light blue vertical stripes just in case you've mistaken them for West Coast or something.

Mate where do you get off being that rude?

Read what you've quoted of mine again and come back to me. I said it looks similar to it more than anything else, it's about how the ball is moved, the positions kicked to and so forth. Not about direct comparison of stats. I should hope we're no longer trying to duplicate the game plan exactly because we don't have the same players.

But you can keep up with the personal attacks on me, continually citing irrelevant points because you think I'm pissing on previous administrations for my own pleasure. You don't seem to do much else so I'll let you have your fun.

Unfortunately Jimmae if you keep bowling half volleys outside off stump, BB will keep hitting you for six.

Gameplan is just one aspect of coaching. Building a structured team based on speed, agility, endurance and strength is what we need for sustained success.

Gameday coaching can only get you so far. Almost all of the modern coaches have concerntrated on the possession style and built a team around that style, I think DP is building a more structured team ala the way Brisbane was built by Wallsy in the mid 90s.

what I saw Sunday was an adaptation of the old and new games. flooding back harrassing to gain possession, then runnig and kicking to leading forwards. Waite at CHF and Fev out of the FF crumbers sitting front and square - We now have a skill and endurance level high enough to pull this off.

What we did Sunday was more than flood and it was better than direct football - let's see how it works on the big ground in WA.

I feel the gameplans have changed due to the AFL wanting a more entertaining game for Television...without the rule changes Pagan and a lot of the other coaches wouldnt have bothered to change their ways...

Clearly you are making a vibe for my posts that's all of your own. All I'm asking is that you (and a couple of others) should look to argue against a point I make rather than try and shoot it down with a one-liner or by insulting me.

BB tried to do all of the above and IMO looks like a complete flower. You're not far off. Quit being the back patter and either make a statement or not post. You're diluting a discussion with crap because you don't like it.
