Why do foxtel bother with this idiot??? As a commentator you would think you would be able to identify the players. Time and time again this moron would call the wrong player. Am i being pedantic or should this guy be off the air?

Also frustrating was the fact that both him and Tim Gossage failed to give us any insight onto why Murphy was decked in the first quarter. Both these guys were more worried about telling us how tough and hard Fremantle were. Since when has sniping made you tough???

I took a dump earlier today which showed both a more insightful knowledge of the game, as well as an an ability to show no bias whatsoever.

Coverage is generally pretty poor at these interstate games. Two Western Australians and Matty Campbell (who is always pro the interstate sides) hardly makes for balanced coverage.

Peter Wilson = modern day jack Dyer

(without a decent playing career to back it up)

Time and time again this is the issue with WA and some SA fox footy coverage - when are they going to switch on and dump the idiots?

He's better than Gerard Healy.

But they're both still knobs.

I agree, but as I posted elsewhere, the majority audience would have to be (in this case) eastern states, and Carlton supporters, so why not give us something to listen to?

Bloody painful.

It's shown on FTA in WA so proabably gets a greater audience there. Certainly seems to be directed for that audience.

Is our foxtel version their FTA version?

The WA posters woud know beter but AFAIK they get the same telecast, commentary we get- on FTA. It certainly seems to be aimed at the WA viewers.

No doubt that he is completely biased - worse than Glendinning used to be.

There was a part of the last quarter I think where the Dockers had 6 handballs on their HBF before clearing it, no comment, and then we had 5-6 handballs on our HBF before clearing through Kouta and Wilson goes mental asking 'what has this achieved - nothing?'. Absolute hack.

WA viewers get the Foxtel coverage FTA. I have a satellite dish in Darwin with receiver that picks up WIN TV from remote WA. I will be able to get most Eagles and Dockers games throughout the season.

I watched the Blues v Freo game on WIN TV and was dismayed at the parochial coverage. Could not believe the bias. When Scotland grabbed Farmers foot it seemed that he was trying to get Farmers foot off his throat, but the commentary went on about Scotland tripping Farmer. I was equally dismayed at their comments about Freo being hard at the ball when they were referring to incidents that had obviously occurred behind the play - such as the Murphy one.

The commentary was about as good as listening to Kiwi commentators when we are playing them at cricket. :x

The only positive about the coverage for me was Tiffany doing the Boundary rider spots. :)

Watched the game on Foxtel and it was very to hard to put up with Wilson and Campbell talking rubbish and pumping up Freo every minute.....
Wilson was a clown as a player and I think the Foxtel crew could look at someone a bit better equipped to handle the special comments...
