Chris Scott was nominated twice the year he won (if memory serves)... once at the start of the year and once near the end.... (maybe even Round 2).

I think it was Chris Scott.... a player has definitely been nominated twice on one season though

probably changed the rules since

The Spew probably changed the rules on Draft morning last year because he knew we were getting the #1 pick. He'll change them back again as part of the Bryce Gibbs back flip on the f/s rule so that Adelaide can get the full package!!

I can confirm you're wrong. Chris Scott was nominated in Rd 7 1994 (the year of his debut) and won it that year.

Michael Braun was Nom'd in 1997 and then again in Rd 1 1998 though. :wink:

Nominations are not just based on that round's games, but on past performances as well.

If it helps Tyrant, Chris Scott was nominated in 1994, and Brad Scott nominated in 1997.

That should help clear things up for Tommi as well.

But I have some questions about the criteria......

Can one be nominated twice in the one year? :wink:

Has tommi been nominated before?

Is tommi still eligible?

Does playing naked give an unfair advantage for a rising star award?

LOL, pretty crap draft, Murphy would get it every week if he could, Pearce was average this week but had a good game last week against the Swans.
