It was a new initiative.
I would say it was an idea promoted by the Corporate Management team.
Thank God those guys hang around and work their arses off under difficult circumstances.
If John Morris and co. were to leave, we may as well shut up shop.

Although I can't make it to training (It's a long commute), I think it would be great if they continued this, to get supporters in, and maybe get some supporters to convert into memberships.

It's unfortunate Paul wasn't drafted by the Scum, since Sheedy would have stated he is the tallest player to be drafted with an afro! :garthp:

Great photos Jarusa!

Forgot to mention that Paul seemed to be a very polite level-headed young man.

In fact as he walked up for the chat he was wearing a hat, not long after the conversation started you could see that he thought it may not have been appropriate to wear a hat at a function such as that and promptly took the hat off.

Whether it was appropriate or not is irrelevant to me, but I like the fact that he thought to do it. Seems like a young guy with good character.

I liked the set up the club organised. The little cafe tables and umbrellas made it look like something different. Glad they put a bit more effort into it rather than just set the BBQ up.

Well of course he is, he's a lovely WA boy

One of my brother's lives in Mandurah and yeh it's VERY different to Melbourne

Great report and pictures guys, well done.

My report here!

The hat was a baseball cap. No pic. Actually, it does not look like an afro close up.

the set up was well thought out they even had a massage table though the massage would not have been relaxing with the music blearing out.
