Where do you reckon Carlton will finish the year?

I reckon if we keep pressing it is possible to sneak into the 8?

one step at a time

question should be can we beat the dawks?

if answer is yes with the side we have in, then our longer term chances are looking brighter 'sooner' and a sneak into the 8 might be possible

Anything is possible at this stage.

As long as we keep the application up to the standard of the last 3 weeks (although preferably better  ) we could give it a nudge.

I agree.

The Dawks must go down.

After that...who knows but we need to win games like tonight, and gain confidence from them.

I reckon the current team is the most stable it has been for the last few years.

Not sure that we are ready, so I voted no. To have a chance, we'd need a great run with injuries, a few of the younger guys would need to be consistent nearly all season and probably some luck.

6-8 wins and a 12-14 finish wouldn't disappoint me, anything more is a plus (or a minus if you think we should be tanking).

You are a true realist!

I may see the glass as half full.

We need some luck and a the same attitude that has prevailed in the last three weeks and who knows what could happen!

As long as we beat ess and coll twice.

Not once but twice then all the other wins will be a bonus

I LOVE it when we beat them twice!

I'm going to start collecting wishbones now.

Can we make the 8 if we push hard all year? Yes.

Will we make the 8? Probably not.

I am coming all the way from Darwin to see them beat the Bombers on may 14.

I reckon the boys might get up. I have three solid reasons.

1. They have never lost in front of me to Essendon* in over 7 years.
( not that I have been to as amny games as I would like)

2. The "g" is finished and Carlton plays better at the "g" than they ever will at the @#$@$ dome.

3. My "chi" will help them win. Everyone knows I hate Essendon* a hell of a lot.

What the hell is the rev fan club?

The other thing I would like to know is...if you dont like Carlton then why waste a Friday evening bagging Carlton.

Have nothing better to do?

My money says that we will give the eight a nudge come 2008 season.

Maybe 2007 if we were to lure one or two very good experienced players at the end of this year.

Until such time I intend on enjoying the development of our young players and the increasing respect for CFC in the football world.

And while I'm here....for all of those opposition "supporters" and "journalists" {for lack of a better description} who gloat as they take every opportunity to stick the boots in or take a cheap snipe..............................GET STUFFED!

We will have the last laugh and I'm chuckling already.
