Carlton is everything to me. After a loss on a Friday night I still feel like shit on Saturday night, I will just stay home with a pizza and some beer. They are the club that has made me shed a tear after watching one of my heroes’s being carried off the ground. They are the team that disappoint me but I forgive them a week later.

I love the Carlton Football Club with all my heart, with every loss a small part of me is ripped out. Every win a giant peace of hope is poured back into me. Over my lifetime more hope has been poured into me than pieces have been ripped out.

I fall asleep watching the past glories of the club and dreaming all night about the future glories. I fear that the day that our team are the best once again will be too far away. We are not Geelong or the Bulldogs, our time will come again SOON. My tears will flow on that great day.

Carlton I will love you forever

I walked out halfway through the last quarter of that game. Couldn't stand the idea of seeing Campo with a smile on his face. Have never been able to watch it since.
