Yes folks this is related to the Blueseum - well, it will end up in there at some time - but i wanted to pick everyone's brains on the jumper numbers of those that we drafted that never played.

From memory I've got Adrian Burdon - 26, David Nicholson - 37, Chris Jackson - 38, and Croad - #23..but... what number did:

* Doug Smart
* Andrew Herring
* Darren Newlan
* Peter Bubner
* Stephen Gemmell
* Dean Adams
* Glen Johnston
*Grant Povey
* Anthony Loone
* Chris Mulcair
* Peter Doyle...24?
* derek Coghlan
* Ben Judd
* Sam Gross
* Colin Corkery
* Damian Hampson (#40?)
* Nick Faull
* Cameron James
* Anthony McDonald (drafted twice, did he wear 2 numbers/)
* Danny Morgan....46?
* Cale O'Keeffe...49?
* Leigh Snooks...48?
* Matthew Dickson...47?
* Bevan Smillie
* Chris Peel
* Luke Rayner - ??
* Tony Plim - ??.
* Matthew Hopkins...37?
* Mark Cullen - 41 Confirmed
* Daniel Marshall - 37 confirmed
* Craig Black - 37 confirmed.
* Richard Kelly - 42 confirmed.
* Jeremy Dukes - 35 confirmed
* Adam Mathews - 38 confirmed
* Joe Allen - 40 confirmed.

Apologies for bringing up these guys - hope no one brought up their lunch in response,

M

Dukes 35
Mathews 38

Check the season lists on the AFL site mols - surely they'd have them on there as long as you know which years they were on the list. :wink:

The list above doesn't but I think in time the Blueseum should have that level of detail.

I may be able to help when I get home tonight. I have a lot of Carlton related work to do tonight, and I'll add it to the list.

Pretty sure Grant Povey wore the cursed Number 10 - but could be wrong. This list brings back too many memories of our recruiting efforts in the past 15 years - abysmal to say the least. :oops: Is this a worse strike rate than other clubs. :?

I thought Trevor Robinson played a couple of games. Didn't he come across I think from Melbourne.
Played his junior years in the Diamond Valley league for Epping, I think.
Regards Pedro.

Peter Doyle - 24
Danny Morgan - 46 pretty sure
Cale O'Keefe - 49
Leigh Snooks - 48
Matthew Dickson - 47 - pretty sure
Matty Hopkins - 37
Mark Cullen - 33
Daniel Marshall - 37
Andrew Leoncelli - 36
Damien Sheehan - 42.
Alan Thorpe was 30.
You were correct with Burdon, Nicholson, Jackson & Croad.

have looked halfs, but they only appear to give numbers when the guys played.

ie 1991 - they give christou;'s number as #56!

so i'm going to have to rely on people's memories or copies of Records if you've got them.

This issue is of vital importance - i Wont sleep until it's done!

ps Jarusa - why isn't Haami Williams in the Blueseum? There's no reference to him in the draft section?

CK will be most upset at that. (No. 38 by the way I think!).

No. I just added him in because I wasn't sure if he played or not.

Hmm...guessing from my handwriting, 1990...or 1989. Not 100% sure.

It's a travesty that Matthew Penny isn't on the list! Was selected for his senior debut, then made way at the last moment as part of a selection ruse (all unbeknownst to him). The guy was suitably gutted. Wore no. 37, for what it's worth.
