Why can't Whitnall stay forward.

5 goals up until quarter time, then what.

Surely we have too kick goals.

That was one we should have won, and didn't, need too scratch our heads, lucky they kicked bad as well.

It was a make-or-break game. We broke. We had a full strength forward line, and they lost Gaspar, Shultz and a few others. No excuse. But I know plenty out there will make them.

Plenty of bad decision making all over the ground, dropped marks in front of goal, bad kicking by key forwards and coaching that lacked the guts to win the game. Do you think I am gutted after watching a display like that?

Wallsey has absolutely bagged Houlahan. I'll be interested what others who were at the game.

Basically that Houlahan should be dropped! Does not chase. Waits for the easy ball and will not go to put on defensive pressure. If he had been coach he said would have dragged him several times.

well i just poosted in another thread thsat I know we will be a good team when Houla cannot get a game. i stick by that. he hurts us far too much. His disposal is crap, his need to avoid contact when contact must be takes is crap, he is such a perfect example of why we are site. i said to my son tonight that when i was a kid Houla would never, ever have gotten to 100 games with this club. @#$%&! the way we are going he'll be made captain

Oh and i forgot...Bye Bye Deluca...Some of the posters on TC are better footballers than you...

Ok thats my rant...POSITIVES:

Walker - His best game yet...He can hold his head high
Fevola - While he wasnt as accurate as usual he chased and pressured and never gave up...Thats 4 form 4 Fev...Keep up the good work!
Murphy - What a little beauty we have here...Smarts, poise and great disposal...Wonderful goal on the run...Will be a champion for many years to come...

Well thats it...Lance was OK...Kouta was OK...Lappin was OK

THe rest of them should hang their heads in shame...PLAY FOR THE JUMPER FOR CHRIST'S SAKE...We aren't the most talented team but it also looked like we didn't care tonight...I cannot describe my disappointment, i love this club and i can't stand seeing it like this...

The commenators made mention late in the last quarter that only 2 of his 19 kicks to that time were long. Screw his "silky" skills. Real easy to hit a player 20 metres away. If you're playing in the middle, hit a player with a 40+ metre kick and we get a shot on goal. He is a softc*ck. Agree with you Dannyboy!!

Is that Houla or Stevens?

I'd seriously like to know the difference (football wise) between Stevens and Campo.

Stevens is the biggest bludger I've ever seen, doesn't chase, doesn't man up. Two Richmond players loose at half forward, Stevens and Scotland jogging through the middle, not a care in the world.

People wonder why Pagan is teaching Walker a defensive side to his game.

and Yes (add general kicking / handballing to that)

and Why can't we get the ball out of the middle ??? 2 weeks in a row we've been belted at the centre bounce.

When will we learn to win the ball when we out number the opposition 2 or even 3 to 1 ? For F#@% sake !

Frustrating to watch

P.S. 1 hour after the final siren and there's a shite load of negative thoughts going through your head.

Questions need to be asked about out play once a behind has been scored. When the oppostition kicks a point, why are we so slow to kick it out. When we kick a point how the f@#k can they get so many men free ? Opposition teams play on within 10 sec of a point being scored, we take at least 30. Is it the coaches falult or the players?

We desperately need a gun CHB. Tough midfielders and players that are at the fall of the ball not on the F@#king side of the pack.

We don't do the basics well enough to compete at this level. Going to be a very long year if this is any indication.

Time to start preparing for next year. Play all the kids. Kennedy must come in and play for the rest of the year. Doesn't matter if he only gets 5 kicks for the entire game, he will be more effective than De Luca.

Absolutley shattered about tonites result. The worst thing is I can't see when our next win is going to come from.

Answer to the question, Pagan coaching without confidence. We were 2 goals up in the first qtr and then he switched him back   , its not like we're trying to save the game was it??

Oh well it could be worse, someone tell me how.. 8)

mmmmm.... dunno what to say really, we played well, but our skills are very poor.....

Train this team to hit targets and we'll be good.

I can't understand why Whitnall was moved onto Richo. It was a knee-jerk reaction from Pagan and it cost us dearly. Thornton has been our best key backman for the last 3 years and is a key to our stucture - as is Whitnall when he's playing forward.

Simpson is NOT a back pocket player and I can't understand why Pagan left him there for the whole game. Simmo has been most damaging this year on the wing or forward of the centre and yet he's in the backline all night trying to lay tackles on Richo.

Can someone please explain to me why Pagan refuses to play our youngsters in their most effective positions. I mean - why all of the sudden is there such a loss in confidence in Thornton?

We are not any less talented than Richmond, in fact I think we're a damn sight better than Richmond. We lack confidence and Denis makes it clear that he has little confidence in them too when he starts make changes mid-match that completely screw up our structure. For christ sake Denis, stop trying to save matches! Let our boys just play! Encourage them to be bold!

And one last thing..... Deluca is not up to it. Bring on Kennedy!

Our skills got more disappointing as the game went on.

But by far the worst thing about tonight is that when the boys came out for the last quarter they just didn't look interested, they didn't have that intensity, that pride in the jumper. You would've thought the game was a done deal by the way they came out, a good last quarter still could have seen us come away with a lucky win.
